@lordofdestruction I'm not convinced Karg was dead, just seriously injured. I don't even necessarily think Trap Jaw died either - they left just enough room for doubt, because it would be pretty dumb ...

@catra Roboto was a pretty big miss for me. I already didn't like the dramatic redesign to look like a much more generic sci-fi robot going into the movie. But then to have a female SNL comedian do th...

I wish he'd had more screen time. I felt he was kind of wasted.

I guess this is what Travis Knight meant when he said he "couldn't fit Mer-Man into the movie". They went through the trouble of creating a full practical, prosthetic costume for an actor, so they wou...

I want this extended cut. A lot of things and characters felt like they needed to be fleshed out more, and an extra 50 (!!) minutes of run time would definitely be one way of doing that...

I just want that 3 hour+ director's cut...

I'm gonna let my thoughts marinate for a bit before I share them here. There's a lot to unpack and it's best to not impulsively react in the immediate afterglow of a film when the endorphins are still...

@vintagetyler Mattel is really inconsistent with the symbol they use for the harness.

Nobody's talking about the elephant in the room, freaking SHE-RA??? I did not expect that. Wow.

I already created a movie spoiler thread. This post should go in there.

Not feeling that at all. Hopefully the kids don't think it's as lame as I do

@grayskull1979 He reminds me of the Wolfman from The Hilarious House Of Frightenstein.

I'm 7 hours away from seeing the new movie, so I decided to start this thread where us fans can all geek out over it and endlessly discuss every detail. Obviously this will be SPOILER HEAVY, so stay o...

@ornclown Or Ram Man...or Expand-Or...

Yup, they're already in stores here

Wow, this is just so dumb

@kinggrayskull09 Yeah, Beast Man and Stratos for example. It's horrible.

That movie Origins Ram Man looks absolutely terrible. I can't believe they went with the vintage style fat arms when they have a far superior option available. I guess it's a simple swap, but rather n...

I'm happy to see that the character designs are VERY faithful to Filmation, so that's a big plus (unlike the CGI show). Not a fan of the "kiddie" style animation art though. I don't see a reason for t...

Shhhh...we don't mention this show around here... Best to leave it dead and buried.

Glad to see he has some new tooling and isn't just a lazy repaint.

@kinggrayskull09 I was just about to post this! Pure awesomeness! They couldn't have picked a more fitting band to write an 80's style theme song for this movie than The Darkness, who are basically th...

I want the more zombie styled one though...

People on social media have revealed that the famous Filmation theme is indeed heard in the film.

@dgsimo Do they ship to Canada? No sign we'll be getting any of this awesome merch. the US gets all the good stuff
