@sci-fitsunami when did they release Teela with the corrected knees. I know they did with She-Ra in the fam Favorite line.
With She-Ra, there are three editions. They fixed the knees (and changed the face a bit I think) during the original run already. There’s two versions of the original run. Then the fan favorite improved yet a little more, with better stickers and I think the face was also tweaked.@sci-fitsunami when did they release Teela with the corrected knees. I know they did with She-Ra in the fam Favorite line.
I wish I could get the fixed knees Teela. So rare, and expensive. I feel they didn’t make many of her, or those largely didn’t make it to the US.
@cosmic I would pay anything for that figure no joke. It's so hard to get, and she's so essential to the line, and one of the best characters. I might as well buy her used.
I don't know exactly when. Somewhere late in the game & only released overseas (I think). Techinn is in Spain & they had both for a while.
I see one on ebay in Ireland for $14.99 + $33 shipping.
But honestly, you're probably better off just getting the one that came in the Zoar 2-pack. I personally think that one looks better anyway with the bright yellow/gold armor instead of the first releases ugly dull brown armor. But that's just me.

Scareglows roll out was slow as hell. Couldn't find him in the beginning and then mid April he was every where. Even the day i got mine the app and site said he wasn't stocked. lol Today Scareglow is everywhere but no movie Chronicles in any of the 4 Walmarts in the area. The only in store ones I have seen were Battle Cat, Man At Arms and Tri-Klops at Target.

My closest Target has TONS of Battle Cat, Tri-Klops, MAA, and cosplay swords... along with Origins He-Man and Spikor.
Funny thing is, two and a half weeks ago, I stopped into three different Targets looking for other stuff, but saw tons of Chronicles He-Man and Skeletor, lol....
I think the movie being so close to release has gotten kids excited... moms have bought up all the He-Men and Skeleys! (Which is a good thing!)

@dgsimo Playsets at size of Chronicles (let alone Masterverse) are so big… and would be quite expensive for a retail offering. Origins CG is already $100.

But most of the lines at this scale are only figure lines. Classified has these pseudo vehicles that are actually more like accessories. Does Black Series have playsets (actually wondering)? I think they had some creatures… but it’s rare no?
Classics had them but they were enormous and expensive, and a mailorder line with subscriptions has other kind of possibilities…
I think I prefer vehicles to super large playsets. I kinda liked the Masterverse Throne, that suits my wallet, and my space limitations 😅

Playsets of any kind really! Like the Core playset was leaked and listed as a 2 in 1 Battle for Eternia playset rumored to be Castle Grayskull and would retail $100 to $120...but nothing has officially been revealed. It's kind of wild to have new movie figures and vehicles but miss the main playset kids new and old would want right?!
For the record as someone who wants Classic Castle Grayskull and it's my golden goose lol...gimme a Chronicles Castle! Throw that up on Mattel Creations as a crowd fund if they must! I'd be down. Throw in a Sorceress figure as a stretch goal too if they have to.

I love the movie Castle Grayskull because they put space between the skull & the 2 towers. The original vintage & Origins was always squished as hell & drove me nuts.
BUT, I hate the movie Grayskull because of the pointy teeth. Fangs like the original are fine but I don't like all the teeth being so pointy. (nit pick)
My Walmart now has 1 core Battle Cat & 1 or 2 Rotons. And a few cosplay swords. They had the core figures but they all sold out. Now that I got Scare Glow out of the way, I can completely ignore the MOTU section for a while. Chronicles Trap-Jaw does look great & it is very tempting, but I have to stop & remind myself that I already have New Eternia & don't need another Trap-Jaw. But I might pick him up in the future if I see a good sale/deal.
I'm really hoping they make a Chronicles Skel-Knight.

Maybe not at retail. 🤔 The original might long be clearanced out, and the new grey one is probably only in specialty stores. My view is a bit skewed cause I only see the online situation. There, we even still have the CGI castle floating around with big markdowns.

Yeah I have the Mark Taylor version because it was cheaper to get for my son over the Origins 1st release otherwise you couldn't get it. Classic Grayskull is like $600 to 900 on the after markets now so no...not an option 🤣
A movie versi9n would be great because it...well looks awesome and offers a chance to do something new inside and outside with the sculpts and accessories.

A playset based on the 2026 Castle Grayskull design would be incredible. To keep costs down, I wouldn't even mind if had minimal accessories / play-features.
My biggest hope would be that there is ample room for figures to adorn the castle...

Not that I'd expect the playset to be so massive, but according to this design, there would be plenty of spots for figures to battle it out! (Out of scale, most likely, but fun nonetheless!)

Castle Grayskull was originally supposed to be neutral. Then Filmation added the Sorceress & made it heroic. Revolution turned it into The Evil Horde. Now those teeth make it look like an evil fortress for Skeletor.
The new playset is part of a mobile exhibition that will tour through various “Smyths” toy stores in Germany. It features numerous other dioramas made by an artist, Josef "Forge of Thenur".

Speaking of diorama, the rock parts and base and extensions of the new playset are not part of it and are just decoration, made by the same artist. I’d love to have those rock parts! 😃
