Those Origins figs look really good! Not a line I'm collecting but supporting the line with movie figs was a good step for Mattel.

Pallet displays are showing up in Walmarts bow but I'm not sure if there's any Origins on them?

More Origins movie figures?!? This is awesome!

Like I said before, the Chronicles are fantastic figures, but Origins just hits all the right notes for me...

The stocky build, the nostalgia factor, the semi-characterized portraits of the actors, and the fact that they work with the existing vintage, CC, xover, and SBS figures is key!

However, I find it strange that we've seen Beast Man, Trap-Jaw, MAA, Tri-Klops, Roboto, Moss Man, Ram-Man, Spikor, Skel-Knight, and He-Man..... yet, NO Skeletor???

@johnnyotool it looks kinda like a custom imo. But I think it's real.

@johnnyotool I came here to post this. It looks like it's from something official, and I don't think a custom would have the cape and collar askew like that. The lack of accessories has been called out, but it's not unheard of for stuff like that to get lost before these kinds of events.

@smitty-81 Interesting that as Origins, he looks much more like a regular Skeletor. (We’re already getting one of those in the Sketch Series! 😏).

I hope he has the texture on his muscles, even though that would mean a whole new buck.

@cosmic I tried to zoom in on the image but it's to low quality. It almost looks like its textured but I'm not sure.

@smitty-81 I guess one other option is to solve it with just paint application. My guess though, is that he’ll have real texture, bevause with the movie designs, they have been spending money. And they have no mini comics, weapons only sparingly… they spend it on the actual figures.

@cosmic considering all the new parts they made for Spikor Tri-Klops and Man-at-Arm, I'd be shocked if they didn't do the same for Skeletor.

Yeah, I like that, but they should have saved the gimmicks for the core line. I used CC Ram-Man's body with TOG Raphael's armor and VC Ram-Man's head.

I also dislike the fat arms because they can go down all the way.

I also like the ToG mutated Ram-Man, Mr. Home Arcade made a nifty regular Rammy out of him– I think that was before the CC version came out.

I’m not taking advantage of the mix and match nearly enough. 😅 It’s such a great feature.

I honestly prefer Ram-Mam without the action feature, but it's still cool how they kept it

That movie Origins Ram Man looks absolutely terrible. I can't believe they went with the vintage style fat arms when they have a far superior option available. I guess it's a simple swap, but rather needless. Those ugly arms seriously need to be retired, just like the idiotic sock feet they keep ruining figures with (which are not swappable!)
