@cosmic Alright then, Storm Collectibles, Mezco and Neca (which, by the way, had ventured in Motu already!) for the win!

@smokinya And now, another teasing introducing this time Flying Fist He-Man!? Which reminds of course a not so distant offering including the most iconic outfits for He-Man. Well, if that's the case, it might not be possible to recreate the exploit using both Dragon Blaster and Laser Light Skeletor.

@admin Exciting! Oh, and I should stand corrected about my suggestion of a possible Skeletor bundle, since the previous one included Dragon Blaster elements. So LL Skeletor and NA Skeletor would be the perfect match.

Mondo has just teased what we assume is a 1:6 Scale LASER POWER HE-MAN Action Figure!

I don't need this...I don't need this...oh who am I kidding? I'm getting this!

@onlyoneskeletor Some people are guessing Snake Armour He-Man as the third set for He-Man? in any case I guarantee they’ll do a laser light Skeletor now and I could see them creating a new armour set to pair with He-Mans. Not the first time Mondo has added to MOTU canon.

@cosmic JoyToy is the number one company I’d choose. They have excellent paint paints for the cost of the figures and S tier design. I think they’d kill any line they’d tackle. I’d love to see them take a stab at an Origins style line. Best part is they’re quick at releases too.

First, Laser Power He-Man and then Flying Fists. TODAY, Mondo has just teased what is (perhaps) a 1:6 Scale KING GRAYSKULL Action Figure (bottom right) which we in turn brightened up!

Could all 3 be part of the same figure, just with different heads and armor?? That would be a big set

@admin Now, I have even more reason to wait for the 1/12 scale King Grayskull, who should be released sooner rather than later via the 200X line. And no, my shelves cannot accommodate the Chronicles version.

Same here... remember when Mondo released their last deluxe He-Man, he came with all the pieces necessary to turn him into He-Man 2.0, Thunder Punch He-Man, or Battle Armor He-Man:

It's either that, or they're teasing figures from both the 1:6 and 1:12 lines...

With such an offering on the horizon, I doubt anyrhing related to the 1/12 figures would occur this month. Good for my wallet!

@onlyoneskeletor I wouldn’t count your chickens quite yet. I certainly wasn’t expecting Leo and a new He-Man figure to be coming in the same month. Especially didn’t think new MOTU 1/6th was coming so shortly after Tri-Klops, but then again I’m surprised by this release in the first place

if they aren’t coming this month it has to be next month for next 1/12th release

He-Man 2.0 is looking very, very tempting. I would almost certainly display it as King Grayskull all the time, but the Laser Light armour is insane. I'm interested to see what a Skeletor 2.0 will look like (lets get real we all know he's coming). He'd likely get laser light as well, I don't think they'd be able to do a NA version with the same figure.

Although I prefer the last Mondo He-Man head sculpt over this one, there is no denying the power of ..... hair.

Looks like a Battle Cat regular edition is on sale at Mondo right now alongside He-Man 2.0. So if anyone is looking for 1/6th Battle Cat, now’s your chance. Strange that they didn’t announce it. Only found out about it since I was combing through the site.

@smokinya The 2,000 units of Triklops still haven’t sold after nearly five weeks. Could this be poor performance for Mondo?

These are a tough pill to swallow with the prices of everything in this world now. So not surprised. But also have to think, how many do they  actually sell when they do the preorder window. May not be as many as we think they do. I can’t remember what pre order they did last year and let it go longer, that was the 1st sign they werent getting the numbers they were expecting.

I normally buy enough to make all versions, so this one makes 4. Im all about that Laser HM. Never was a fan of flying fist, plus this one looks to 200x for me. Dont care about King, and really dont need another damn regular HM. So i may just get 1, instead of going overboard.

i like they posted a pic of the sky sled. Didnt order it, because inwasnt sure they would make a Tri Klops. He is the only one that rode the toy when i was a kid, and it has to be that way still. So hope they put it up like they just did BC.

Tough to say. I've been watching the performance of most of their stuff for a while now just to get a general sense of where things are at. Some items are going quick and others not so much. Beast and Mister Sinister from X-Men have been up on the website for a while now without selling out. That being said they didn't start posting the edition size until somewhat recently (first one I can find for MOTU is Revelation Skeletor). I know for a fact that Scareglow Classic Variant was an edition size of 1000 and it sold out in like 5 minutes back in the day.

MOTU is one of their bigger lines and in most recent history it seems like everyone who wanted a figure was able to get one. Examples of this being The Goddess (1000 units) and Faker (1500 units). I think its safe to assume that Mondo is selling 2000 units at the top end of each figure. Most figures are probably selling around 1000ish units. When they were asked about Tri-Klops on the Toy Talk someone asked why Limited Edition versus Timed Edition and Hector did say that they "ordered enough so everyone who wants one will get one without issue" so it seems like they did know that they would have left over stock. How much stock they have left over is anyone's guess.

Something else to note is that Hordak was available on the Mondo site for years without fully selling out and by all counts they did up the production of their lines since Hordak was released in 2019-2020ish?

I do think that the current economic climate is taking its toll on a lot of consumers. Its also probably a contributing factor (on top of the Funko fiasco) as to why Mondo and Funko haven't been to as many conventions this year. The Funko stock itself has been decently consistent over the past 12 months as well (I also monitor this pretty closely since I'm in finance just out of curiosity).

@banthafett The Skysled has come back in stock a few times over the past 15 months. Just need to monitor the website since they don't announce it all the time. Usually its only a few units.

I'd like to get a Sky Sled as well.

I don't like the price (I don't like any of the prices, lol), but the Sled is a pretty unique item, and at 1:6 scale, it would look really good in a display.

As usual coming in with a quick recap of the latest Toy Talk

He-Man 2.0 Toy Talk Summary

  • Peter mentioned that people have come out to support He-Man 2.0 in a "big way" so far on the pre-orders. Important to note because this wasn't stated about Tri-Klops on his Toy Talk (added this since we have been discussing line health).
  • This version of He-Man is something they've been wanting to do for a while since they weren't able to complete all the 80's armor pieces in the last release of He-Man
  • He-Man 2.0 has more articulation! Moving forward all figures that use the standard humanoid buck will have better articulation on the waist/abs. They have now added the belt as a separate piece to the figure for better articulation (seems solid on the figure). Hector displayed this articulation on the talk and it looked great.
  • When asked about using LED's in future figures Peter and Hector confirmed that they'd like to use it where it makes sense.
  • The 3rd option on He-Man 2.0 is meant to be the Mondoverse version of King He-Man. Its design was heavily inspired by King Grayskull, but its not meant to be a King Grayskull figure.
  • The "standard" Battle Cat on offer right now apparently has a "very small" production run, but they didn't confirm how many they made (I'd guess 500 as a cap, but 250 seems more likely). They noted that this re-release was specifically due to fan request.
  • 1/6th Clawful might've been teased as a "slip" by Peter. He was talking about how the Laser Light armor looks bulky and would be great to pair against Trap Jaw or Clawful on your shelf. Not a confirmed teaser, but there is a chance Clawful 1/6th is actively being worked on.
  • Sorceress wasn't officially confirmed, but Hector did state that she was a "must do" for the line.
  • Skeletor 2.0 deluxe was outright confirmed by Hector on the Toy Talk. It will complete all the 80's line armor for Skeletor. Peter seemingly confirmed that it will also include options to turn the figure into Keldor offering fans better options for that character.
  • The next two 1/6th scale figures are all coming together right now and we'll be getting a very detailed look at them at SDCC. These figures are the two silhouettes that were teased at the end of 2025.
  • No teases for 1/12th MOTU

Since Skeletor 2.0 has been confirmed I think that the other teased silhouette from the end of 2025 might be Skeletor 2.0, but one thing to note is that the way Hector was talking about it made it seem like it was something that would be released for 2027 so I might be wrong on this. They did state that no one has guessed both silhouettes correctly in the same comment, but both have been guessed correctly separately.

I don't think we'll be getting another 1/6th MOTU figure released until SDCC in July, which I believe will be a pre-order for King Hssss. Hector and Peter did say that the next two figures are very "Mondo-fied". They cited 1/6th Buzz-Off as an example of this. For Teela and Mer-Man 1/12th I think we'll be looking at a May pre-order window. I wouldn't be surprised if the Exclusive release that MOTU usually gets at SDCC is a 1/12th Keldor or King Grayskull.

That's a wrap for this one. Until next time!
