OUR REVIEW:
An episode that wants to promote books so badly even Skeletor says they are the real treasures of the world. If Batros' plan is stealing books, gaining their knowledge and ruling (because the people of Eternia would depend on that knowledge), it's interesting but desperately needed fleshing out. At least Skeletor shines here. (4/10)

Tomorrow’s Episode is: “Origin of the Sorceress”

I really enjoy this episode -it’s overall fun, and Batros makes for a very interesting villain. It does come across as a bit dated in today’s internet world, and I feel at times they are a little over the top on books (who would have ever guessed Skeletor would say the line “Books are the real treasure of the world"). I really love the fight at Grayskull with He-Man and Battlecat vs Skeletor, the Evil Warriors, and Batros.
One other note, this is the perfect example of how I hope Skeletor is portrayed in the movie. Evil, cunning, and very sassy. Everything I’ve seen (and the current top post of Travis Knight talking about Skeletor) all suggest he really understands the character, which will be great to see on the big screen.
Can you guess what episode is my favorite?

AJ I’ll confess that you make a good point about his plan. It could have been explained better or even said the way you described it.
Really tempted to make a joke about modern day America with the main premise of this episode but thankfully I’m holding back
It’s not the case but anyone else Batros looks as if he’s a prototype design for Vultak? He even has a Horde-looking symbol on his chest. Maybe it was a coincidence or maybe his design was the inspiration for Vultak, or maybe he was meant to be in his place in his one-off episode and be a pre-stablished character who becomes a member of the Horde like Modulok.
I only notice now, but Trap Jaw’s cyborg arm sometimes looks so thin like a pole.
You think every year on Adam’s birthday before they reunited with Adora, Marlena went privately aside at certain points to secretly be depressed about her?
Meh. Season 2 hasn’t held up as well as Season 1 so far. I hope that changes.
I like this episode. Skeletor was evil and funny, though I did feel kind of bad for Beast Man and how he was treated by Skeletor. Batros is great. He has a great looking design and is a thinker and I don’t understand why he only appeared in one episode. Overall it!s good (7/10)
4 stars. The evil warriors are useless dolts in this episode but it’s made up by skeletor being a bad ass. And batros is one of the great filmation villans.
