VARIETY WAS WRONG: Amazon MGM did buy a Super Bowl Spot for “Project Hail Mary”. Is “Masters of the Universe” ALSO coming to play?

Are you ready for some f̶o̶o̶t̶b̶a̶l̶l̶ He-Man?

Earlier this week, we reported that TWO new trailers were classified for the “Masters of the Universe” Movie (other than the teaser trailer we already saw.)

While Super Bowl Sunday felt like a possible spot for a 0:54 trailer, with a possible 6 second advert telling viewers to watch the longer 1:30 trailer online…

…what gave us pause was Variety reported Amazon MGM was not buying Super Bowl commercial spots.

Here was Variety’s report:

But Variety was incorrect, verified by a Super Bowl Trailer Spot announcement yesterday for Amazon MGM’s New Movie “Project Hail Mary“.

So will a new “Masters of the Universe” Movie Spot ALSO be featured during the Super Bowl?

We don’t know, but stay tuned this Sunday and we will find out together.

We’ll see you next time

  1. I was writing a post in the other thread about the trailer stuff and no spot but then Amazon blew that up with the Hail Mary spot news. So now I have no clue if we’ll get one and I don’t think anyone in the know had any idea too, so it’ll be interesting to see!
The BBFC stuff given its a UK ratings board likely isn’t related to the Super Bowl. What they are though…no clue lol Sony UK uploaded the trailer to their channel the same time as everyone else with nearly 6 million views to date. So unless there wasn’t a trailer playing in cinema’s until this rating I got nothing 🤣
