Wow I’ve missed a lot. So let me get this straight… They gave us countless Teela’s, Man at arms, Mer-man etc… What exactly is the point dropping Masterverse for another line?
Also I just saw the movie figures, someone thought they looked good? I want to vomit

What exactly do you not like about the movie figures (other than the self-explanatory Evil-Lyn, lol)...?

It is imperative that they leverage their resources to strategically entice fans who have been captivated by Masterverse by extending its exploitation. This can be achieved by incorporating characters from the recent New Eternia box art, among other methods. Shortest jokes are also known to be the best, aren't they?Considering the name “Chronicles”, I have also expected a catch-all line, but how far they push it is anyone’s guess.
@ornclown I mean MAA and Skeletor look decent but the rest look like poorly made knock offs. I know they are movie accurate but that He-man looks like no love was put in to him lol
Finally, they're waking up! Thanks for sharing! The renders aren't that impressive so far, speaking as a real Beast Man fan. That being said, Mer-Man received the same treatment when the first images of him emerged on the web. He turned out to be much more appealing later on, so I'll reserve judgment for now.
Hm, I’m just not sure… he looks cool, but so cdo the last two New Eternia Beast Men. Do I really need another one that looks so similar… (to the last one, at least)
These questions haunt me with each “Vintage Collection” release. I wish he had a bigger chest / torso, like He-Man, Mer Man,… That was for me the big draw with VC.
Though my favorite, Stratos, (I had to have him), having the same furry torso I assume, the Winged Warrior looks pretty awesome.
I find that super goofy Mer Man more interesting, but Beasty looks solid.

My thoughts also and the reason why I didn't get into MV Vintage. The figures look so damn similar to New Eternia that it feels almost like a scam 😀 I mean, good on Mattel finding ways to re-use the moulds I guess. But from a collectors point of view...not getting it.

Desperate scalpers will then sell them at outrageous prices—an incredible opportunity for you international fans! Finally, a few foreign toy sellers will add him to their catalogs at a reasonable price. 😴
it's not a bad figure at all, but IMO the first New Eternia Beast Man is the beast BM figure ever...the size, the accessories...

@lasastard The molds are partially new in several cases (Stratos, parts of Faker,…), which makes it even more mind boggling. Truth is, NE Stratos was more innovative, so releasing a “Classic” design was more warranted.
This Beast Man, if he had that huge chest like VC He-Man, (but furry), he would be more imposing and more different from the previous ones. But in this case, he reuses VC Stratos’ chest, which is much more modest (works for the Avionian, not so much for Beastie IMHO).
Funny enough, looking more closely at the NE Beast Men, this new dude is different. But if you need to make direct comparisons to notice it… I dunno.
I really wanted Havoc Sorceress Teela to complete the trio. Now I'll have to figure out how to customize one.

I don't collect these days but I do have an eye on that vintage mer-man.
@yen1893 The Mer-Man situation was bearable. I could handle playing the waiting game until he became available on the wider market in April. But adding Beast Man to that already painful process...
