We have the Power!
Fantastic news! So, people just didn't want to go the movie theaters?!?!?!
By the power, for the honor, for the glory of Grayskull!
Well it’s all relative, like not everybody has Amazon, so the chart only pertains to people who do have it. We don’t know how these percentages relate to population as a whole.Fantastic news! So, people just didn't want to go the movie theaters?!?!?!
But yes, I believe people of Generation X, age group that most likely is attracted to this brand, is going less to theatres, that is part of the problem.
Every generation, as it ages, goes out less. The lockdowns also contributed, many people got used to streaming.
The youngest people are the ones who go to the movies now again. But it has to be something “buzzy”, with internet buzz, a real “event”.
May I also say, these younger gens didn’t really experience MOTU as much because it was dormant too long! Classics was great for existing collectors, but general audience saw no MOTU for … 15 years? That was way too long.
Where was this audience when the film needed it? Too little, too late... 🙁

Add Australia to the list. I had it on but didn't have time to watch it. I just wanted to do my bit to boost the Day One number.
