@slycooperastroboy51 Absolutely. One of my favorite teasers is the Terminator 2: Judgement Day one, watching the Terminator be made.

The Barbie teaser was well done. It established how important the doll was to the world along with setting the tone and feel of the film while giving us a quick cut of some scenes. I'd be happy with something similar for MOTU.

Now that you mention the Barbie movie I suddenly had this funny thought of a potential post-credits scene

After defeating Skeletor in the movie, Adam is walking around alone and silent at night in the royal palace, when suddenly he runs into someone in a trenchcoat and eypatch

????: "Prince Whatsyoursurname, you have become part of a bigger universe, you just don't know it yet.

Adam: "Who the hell are you?"

Will Ferrell: I have been watching you, He-Man. You are just the person I need. I am forming a team of very unlikely people to fight some evil god or whatever, I dunno. I just sent the first recruited member, Ms. Barbara to heavily survey a land full of racing and orange roads that looks like an episode of Speed Racer on LSD."

Adam: "What!?"

Ferrell: "As the CEO, I also ask that you accept my invitation into this initiative, but it will require you briefly return back to Earth. To find more potential wacky recruits."

Adam: "Why?"

Ferrell: "The area I want you to survey is an island off the coast of England that's normal except that most of the vehicles are inexplicably sentient, mainly all the locomotives on the wide railway run by a well dressed slightly obese man."

Adam: "I'm sorry, CEO? Of what?"

Ferrell: (camera zooms in) "I came here to talk to you about the Mattel initiative. (Casually) Oh, and by the way, yes we are trying to get in contact with your sister, but for some reason (sighs) she ain't answering our calls."

Adam: "Look, mister, I don't know why- WAIT WHAT!!???"

Does anyone feel like if Orko is in the movie (which even though he hasn’t been announced yet still has a very likely chance or else there will definitely be an outrage), a good choice to cast as the voice of him would be a pitched up John Mulaney or is it just me?

in general for major/prominent characters in the franchise you feel probably won’t be in the movie but could appear later down the line should this become a film franchise, who would you fan cast as them?

Me? Ben Mendelsohn as Hordak all the way. He honestly would’ve made a better and way less controversial choice for Skeletor. Can anyone else see the vision?

It's one of those ones where it'd be weird if Orko isn't in it but equally I probably don't want him in it lol. I remember people crying about Orko and Battle Cat being MIA in 1987, I didn't miss them one bit! And I actually like Battle Cat.

I like your choices!

Hmmm Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld is on Twitter/X talking about how a NON DC/Marvel movie that's also not a sequel and in the can will be at direct odds with the fan base. He said he read the script and while the fan base wants a straightforward version, the script was a "good comedy".

https://twitter.com/robertliefeld/status/1962905445812891749?t=SEeo1MbIGWX12DP8W-vBYw&s=19

He shot down a few suggestions but when He-Man and MOTU got mentioned he didn't reply...🤔

So something has come to my attention that I'm sure hasn't come to any of your's:

We don't know yet who is gonna be the music composer of this film.

I feel like with the Amazon money budget, they could potentially get a big one in the industry like Alan Silvestri or Michael Giacchino

Silvestri is probably the 2nd biggest composer in film history behind John Williams who is still scoring movies to this day, even blockbusters impressively at his age. I think he would be ideal given that his music can be both grand and epic and if that logo teaser is anything to go by, the music will be Filmation-esque but Orchestral.

He composed many acclaimed hits such as Back to the Future, Avengers, Predator, Forrest Gump, Who framed Roger Rabbit, Cast Away, Super Mario Brothers (1993) and Mac and Me (bless you Paul Rudd)

Giacchino basically is this generation's John Williams with his resume, but his most prominent works are really sci-fi, Disney or Marvel (he straight up said before the recent release of F4 that he tried his best not to make it sound like his work on The Incredibles.) I don't think he's ever done a prominent fantasy film, but hey, he may as well give it a shot.

It's most likely Dario Marianelli. He's worked with Travis Knight on his previous films so they likely already have a good working relationship.

It is hard to assess that photo without context. Was there any quote that comes with this?

all I know is that Travis Knight has got awesome music choices! Save a Prayer, Big mouth strikes again, things can only get better. Just to name a few great ones from Bumblebee! And Paul Rudd is a national treasure

I just deciphered what it says on the Power Sword: ETERNIA. so that's how Adam will remember it all. I matched the images of the Eternian language title, to the English version. Then learned the writing on the Power Sword by flipping it upside down.

Okay, real talk people!

which characters do you think will die in the movie?

with a potential film franchise with a lot of characters, some of them are sometimes sacrificed in order to make room for new ones in the next movie. Not just to sell new toys later on, but for a less bloated cast in a sequel.

or some they can just leave ambiguous to their fate if the filmmakers are unsure whether an actor wants to return for a sequel.

the Transformers and to an extent Fast and Furious films are good examples of this.

im 100% sure all the characters aren’t confirmed yet, we KNOW the A-list characters are making it through but guys like Fisto or Mekaneck…..not saying I think they’ll be killed off I’m just giving examples.

i mean Skeletor killing one of the Masters on screen in this movie could really up the stakes of the movie to the audience

betting Goat Man will die because he’s a character there purely for deep cut fan service

@slycooperastroboy51 Did you read this rumor?

https://he-mania.com/2025/05/has-masters-of-the-universe-movie-set-photos-confirmed-a-plot-rumor-possible-spoilers-ahead/

I am expecting huge emotional moments like when Odin dies in Thor Ragnarok or Frigga dies in Thor The Dark World.

THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!

If Randor does die, then coincidentally the other day I picked up two issues of the 2013 DC comic run I forget their numbers off the top of my head (#13 and #16 I think?) but from what I can gather of the story Randor’s death is what causes Adam to go looking for Adora, who has by then abandoned the Horde and the Despara moniker but before she becomes She-Ra. Now I may read the rest of the run so no spoilers, but from what I read, I think that could be a great first act to a hypothetical second film.

If and when they introduce Adora into this possible film franchise, a part of me wants her to have already abandoned the Horde when Adam first meets her or who knows maybe she can already be She-Ra in a post credits scene?

From what we know for the plot, it seems Teela comes to Earth in the first act to find Adam and bring him home to Eternia

five bucks says Orko accompanies her to Earth and we get that oh so iconic “Person and CG character in a car” camera shot.
