Awesome news! I imagined someone would try and capitalize on the new film with a 4K release of the 1987 one and happy to hear we are! Looking forward to the official details and release info then!
I have this movie on blu-ray, DVD, VHS, and Digital... but I will most assuredly buy it again - especially for all those "bells and whistles!!"

Scoop confirmed! It's coming and it's an extended cut! Not Vinegar syndrome though snd it looks like Arrow is handling the transfer?

@dgsimo I love Arrow! I hope they make a Blu-ray release and not just 4K, I only have a BD player. I haven't sene any deleted scenes online, so I can't wait to see a completely new movie!
