Classic episode. I like seeing the Spirit of Grayskull but where was he all those other times Skeletor got inside Grayskull?
🤣

One of the best of the series and definitely Season 2. I wish we had a few more like this that took a more serious tone - no Orko helps, and Trap-Jaw and Skeletor have their moments of humor while keeping a more serious tone. Feels like this is one of the ones Revelation really took inspiration from.

One slight criticism as he’s my second favorite character- Evil-Lyn tells Skeletor that He-Man and Battlecat are coming, and Skeletor questions why He-Man is coming alone. Feels like a ton of disrespect to the one character Skeletor routinely runs from, haha.

Dropping in again to say that this episode is also part of my personal top ten.

Great writing, dialogue, pacing, and reuse of stock footage.

This is a great one. So many great moments. Duncan hugging Teela. The Sorceress hugging Teela. I think my favorite moment is when the Spirit and Sorceress watches Teela from the Castle. It's so sweet that Sorceress has someone to share it with and she is not alone. As you say. Perfect episode. 10/10

Like this one, but I'm not sure as much as other people. I know it's a favorite of many but idk as someone who didn't grow up with this show, I didn't find the story particularly as good as others, mainly the Skeletor plot, though I do love that it's one of those rare instances in a cartoon where the conflict is caused by an unintentional coincidence from the villain. That could've been any falcon he sent to the other dimension and it just happened to be Sorceress.

4 stars. Great episode but the teela as the next sorceress angle never made sense to me - if she was to inherit grayskull why is she not being trained in magic rather than as a warrior?
