@dan1980 yeah, the games are fairly basic, creepy fun (to watch and / or play). However, the lore, that's another story. Let's just say it is a massive black hole that has kept fans constantly re-evaluating every little clue every time a new game comes out.

Seen a few recently.
Deadpool & Wolverine. Which I loved and no one can tell me it was a bad film. And I know the packed house on opening night would agree. Also Chris Evans is one of the stars of the film.
LongLegs with Nicholas Cage. A really bizarre horror/thriller that I still can’t decide if I loved or hated. It will have to get rewatched definitely.
Trap by M Night Sham. An enjoyable thriller but didn’t quite live up to some of his previous movies.
I love Rock, but let's be honest. Shane. The quintessential and archetypal Western. Wonderful cast, wonderful dialogue, including from great villains, breathtaking cinematography, classic Americana storyline. It really holds up. Unlike a lot of other films, by the time you've finished watching it you won't want your two hours back.
The Wild Robot
Gentleman's Agreement. It holds up. Relevant so many years later.
The Gentlemen. The one where Matthew McConaughey tries to sell his weed empire. It also has Hugh Grant as a slimy reporter.

I disagree with the suggestion that Salem's Lot was stupid. It was a very good miniseries that still holds 45 years later. It was one of the Stephen King adaptations that bucks the trend and does not disappoint and was crafted by a big director of the horror genre.
@longtooth I was honestly just a little shy about having never seen it, even now. I'm really behind on horror to say the (very) least.

45 years old? 🙀 I don't know that one. The only one I saw came out this year. It's new.
