Declan's sandwich was filled with Panko Crumb Cheese, Ham, Hot Honey Sauce, Pickles, & Home Made Potato Chips on the side.

Jamie, Andre & Declan progressed to the second round to make their mash-up's.
 
 
Jamie made a fried chicken with tomato and onion kimchi and Andre made a pasta, basil consomme & Caprese salad dish.
 
 
However, it was Declan's Lobster Eclair, complete with lobster salad, dill & fennel garnishes, & choux pastry eclair served in a lobster shell that amazed the judges the most and he won tonight's Immunity, so he and Snezana who won last night's Immunity are safe from Sunday.
 
Sunday is an Elimination Challenge which is all about melty cheese, and I am worried for Depinder & Sarah. I hope they will make it through to next week.

Tonight on MasterChef, guest judge Andy Cooks joined our regular judges Andy Allen, Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin & Jean-Christophe Novelli for an epic 2 Round Elimination evening.
 
Declan Cleary & Snezana Calic had won Immunity from tonight, but in Round 1, everyone else had to create a dish that celebrated gooey stretchy cheese. The 5 least favourable dishes would see their makers sent into Round 2 where they had to make a dish with cross-sectioned layers that could be sliced into. The least favourable dish in that round would see their maker sent home.
 
The Top 4 dishes in Round 1 were created by Alana Lowes, Audra Morrice, Depinder Chhibber & Laura Sharrad.

Sarah Todd also created a fabulous dish of cheesy curry biryani & paratha, so she was also fairly near the top. I don't have a photo for this dish sorry. When I realised Depinder & Sarah were both safe, I cheered!
 
Beau Cook, Jamie Fleming & Theo Loizou were sort of lost in the middle.
 
 
However, the Bottom 5 dishes in Round 1 were created by Andre Ursini, Ben MacDonald, Callum Hann, Darrsh Clarke & Samira El Khafir. They were forced to play Round 2 because their dishes lacked the theatre of stretchy cheese to meet the brief. Darrsh used blue cheese which doesn't have a strong stretchy point.

Ben tried to make scotch eggs but he completely screwed them up as they split apart in the fryer. He was therefore forced to play his Immunity Pin to save himself and unless he wins a future Immunity Challenge, he no longer has protection now.
 
 
Round 2 Top 2:
 
 
Callum redeemed himself with a dessert consisting of strawberry sorbet, strawberry gum ice cream, basil oil, a ruby chocolate disc, macerated lilly pilly & strawberry milk crumbs.

Samira redeemed herself with a dish called Makloubeh, consisting of spiced lamb, mixed vegetables & rice, with side dishes of onion sumac salad, mint yoghurt dip, chilli salsa & pickled vegetables.

This left Darrsh's choux buns with pistachio praline & custard and Andre's french onion soup with ricotta crisp as the Bottom 2 dishes.
 
 
Darrsh burned his choux buns because he made them with too many eggs and they were uneven in size, while Andre's dish was presented well, but lacked cohesive structure.
 
 
Because Darrsh's dish had more faults, it was he who was Eliminated.

Congratulations to the Sooshi Mango Drag Queen Nonnas for the Highest Rated Episode of this MasterChef season last week.❤️

That said, I can't believe some viewers are complaining about Sooshi Mango guest appearing on MasterChef the other night. I can't believe we live in a world of such blatant idiocy and bigotry. The remaining contestants can't believe this lunacy either, they loved being on the episode as much as normal fans enjoyed watching it.❤️

Tonight on MasterChef, the remaining 14 contestants had to go head to head against each other in 7 pairs of 2 per bench. Both of each pair had the same sauce as a main ingredient as their benchmate.

The contestants who made the best dish with their given sauce will go into tomorrow night's Pressure Test Challenge which once again this time is an Immunity Challenge, meaning someone will be safe from the next Elimination. I'm assuming that will be next Sunday, which indicates that Wednesday may be another Immunity Challenge. You can never predict anything on MasterChef which I am finding out this year especially.
 
The Top 7 winners of tonight's challenge who will play for a chance at Immunity tomorrow are: Depinder, Callum, Beau, Audra, Theo, Andre & Alana.
