Just came across this on Reddit. People have no shame
These are the same people that buy stuff on Amazon, replace the items with crap, then return it. I can speak from experience that I've bought many "Amazon Warehouse" products (even got the thank you for giving them a 'second chance') only for several of them to be items replaced by inferior junk.
These people aught to be made to eat three square meals of dog poo for 90 days straight... for every offense.
They make the hobby more difficult and expensive for everyone. 😡

@ornclown yes but there has to be some employees that know something isn’t right where they don’t make it back to the shelf. From personal experience with chronicles, every store I visit the extra hands are always missing
Yeah i am furious about this sort of “me first” attitude, excusing it with “Amazon has enough money” or “well it’s a dog eat dog world, I rather be the one who eats!”
These things are supposed to bring joy and fun! I could write for pages how frustrating I find this, and how utterly weak I find this behavior… but it’s being modeled to them from the highest level, so… nuff said.

@cosmic The official box art has also started to leak. What was the exact release date again? I have a vague recollection of something that was due around September.

It seems they just started sending it out? (Those leaks are from a packaged set from a customer?)

@cosmic It looks like another colossus is making its presence known in the center, at the front of the lair. Could it be Tauraton? I'm not entirely sure that's the case…

But yeah, he appears to have “only” two arms, horns and sort of a … lobster face?? They have a lobster pet monster?? 😆
I wish I could be happier about all this, not being able to afford this lair… not being able to participate… bums me out a bit.
I’ll try to be happy for everyone who got it.
It was easier with Eternia cause I know I didn’t have the space 😏
@cosmic I had a similar issue when confronted with the completely unexpected Eternia playset, which probably explains why I always left it off my wishlist for playsets in general. With the Snake Lair, though, my reaction was the complete opposite: (1) It looks incredibly cool and creepy, and as a dark fantasy fan, it was an absolute no-brainer. (2) Size-wise, it was much more reasonable after Mattel’s first attempt to sell us their initial prototype.

Yeah I think his inclusion is due to Axel putting the Lost Wave characters in Preternia with Mattel's blessing. So we should expect Strobo and Plasmar to be part of POG when they get made.

Plasmar's story in Classics had him hunting Snake Men as revenge for the death of his family and village, so that would work well to put him in Preternia.
