Just came across this on Reddit. People have no shame
These are the same people that buy stuff on Amazon, replace the items with crap, then return it. I can speak from experience that I've bought many "Amazon Warehouse" products (even got the thank you for giving them a 'second chance') only for several of them to be items replaced by inferior junk.
These people aught to be made to eat three square meals of dog poo for 90 days straight... for every offense.
They make the hobby more difficult and expensive for everyone. 😡

@ornclown yes but there has to be some employees that know something isn’t right where they don’t make it back to the shelf. From personal experience with chronicles, every store I visit the extra hands are always missing

These things are supposed to bring joy and fun! I could write for pages how frustrating I find this, and how utterly weak I find this behavior… but it’s being modeled to them from the highest level, so… nuff said.

But yeah, he appears to have “only” two arms, horns and sort of a … lobster face?? They have a lobster pet monster?? 😆
I wish I could be happier about all this, not being able to afford this lair… not being able to participate… bums me out a bit.

@cosmic I had a similar issue when confronted with the completely unexpected Eternia playset, which probably explains why I always left it off my wishlist for playsets in general. With the Snake Lair, though, my reaction was the complete opposite: (1) It looks incredibly cool and creepy, and as a dark fantasy fan, it was an absolute no-brainer. (2) Size-wise, it was much more reasonable after Mattel’s first attempt to sell us their initial prototype.

Yeah I think his inclusion is due to Axel putting the Lost Wave characters in Preternia with Mattel's blessing. So we should expect Strobo and Plasmar to be part of POG when they get made.

Plasmar's story in Classics had him hunting Snake Men as revenge for the death of his family and village, so that would work well to put him in Preternia.

C'mon Mattel, let's get those guys already. It's taking too long. Plasmar is a badass. Also, it's a great way to expand the POG era.
So.......Transformers' current '86 movie 40th anniversary Apology Tour.......people are already wanting an apology for the Apology Tour for many reasons. Reasons I don't feel like explaining, but it got me thinking, how is Mattel gonna celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1987 film next year? I mean we are getting the 4K release this year.
I'm doubting any Chronicles representation next year because we just got some in Masterverse a few years back.
Now I know the obvious is finally releasing Origins versions of the remaining '87 characters Blade, Saroud and Gwildor, as well as a new Karg figure for good measure, especially since he surprisingly showed up in the new film.
I'm somewhat baffled that back in the day, Mattel didn't produce new He-Man and Sketetor variant figures reflecting their different Lundgren and Langella looks to tie in with the original film when it came out, but I guess they knew they didn't need to, because they had many He-Mans and Skeletors being sold by then but still.
And because of that I'm expecting they'll do Origins vintage styled figures of He-Man, Skeletor and the others in their original film appearances to complement Blade and Gwildor should they come out next year.
Also it probably won't happen
But I just think it would be really funny for no reason if they made and sold Origins figures of Julie and Kevin. Two very normal people. They are probably some of the only prominent MOTU Glup Shittos who have never been made into figures for good reason but it would just be funny to see them stick out in a collection. Maybe sell them in a 3 or 4-pack with Blade and/or Gwildor so more would buy them because obviously an 80s styled Courtney Cox figure can't sell on it's own.

But seriously, I have been thinking the same thing, the anniversary would be a good occasion to release those classic movie figures if they want, plus the Shock Trooper and Karg (both of which had vintage concepts). Possibly He-Man / Skeletor.
But it’s hard to tell. 200X apparently warranted an entire Origins spin-off line. Filmation, too. But the ‘87 movie? I think there’s a real chance they’ll do some Mattel Creations, and maybe release He-Man / Skelly at retail?
