Great that there is a deal, too, plus free shipping– when you spend over $35 AFTER the deal, for example when you order 3 of the Origins.
Will contemplate if I get the Fright Fighter, too… Though I dislike spending too much at once 😅
Also passed on the 2-pack for now… but I’m having my eyes on it.
Still trying to not get the same movie characters in all the different lines… but it’s tempting! Origins Ram-Man is so unique and vintage, while the Chronicles and Core versions are really sharp looking!
@cosmic I think the 2 pack should qualify for the $10 off a $40 purchase on its own, possibly worth it to put in multiple orders anyway!

I would like to find the time to try blackwashing and/or painting some of these figures and Spikor might be a good candidate for first attempt(s)...

I agree with Spikor.., it’s not the sculpt, it’s the color, or lack thereof. Just some random spraying (like on the original Castle Grayskull) would have helped I think.
Or randomly mixing a darker plastic with the lighter one. Or a darker plastic period!
I’m not a completist so I don’t mind skipping him.., though there are some deals right now on Target… he’s getting cheap lol

On standard retain Origins figure has had that level of paint work. But your "co-molding" idea has merit.

I had previously theorized that it absence from the checklist meant it was an MC exclusive, but now it shows up on Walmart.com. This may suggest there's more movie Origins figures beyond what's on the checklist.

We've already made our Origins movie lists...
However, I have a hard time thinking that Mattel would stop before making movie Evil-Lyn and Fisto.
They both played bigger roles in the movie, and deserve Origins versions. So, I think those two will be revealed after Teela and Skeletor hit.
At the same time, I'd love to see Karg, Goat Man, Mekaneck, Dian, Randor, Sorceress, and Battle Cat before the Origins movie line ends.

Three different portraits, two different suits of armor, and four different weapons make him the perfect army builder (if they ever become more widely available.)
If / when that happens, I'll most likely get 3 or 4 more!

@ornclown I got two ordered– unfortunately two separate orders so I have to pay shipping twice… it gets expensive, even the non-eBay way! I also ordered a very reduced Sectaur to get a bit more out of the shipping, but suddenly I spent $80 today 😬
I’m excited because it shows he’s ready to ship, I might have him in a couple days. I wasn’t sure if he had the second armor, it was only featured in one photo and I thought they got rid of it for cost reasons.
The armors do look a bit wide and puffy, getting some flashbacks to Classics figures… curious how it’ll look in person. Incorporating the fastening belts into the actual armor just makes it looks so bulky.
But I’m looking forward to customize and play around with the accessories.
My WM Trap-Jaw should come around July 1st. Not sure if u have him already, but to everyone else– might be worth having an eye on his page.

@cosmic I don't have my movie Trap-Jaw yet, but tracking shows he should be here by end of this week!
As for the Skel-Knight, the gray armor is a bit puffier than the black, hence why I chose the black armor to display, but really they both look good once he's in-hand.
The sheer number of combinations between all the accessories is crazy... the 'skirt' can come off as well, so that adds to the algorithm too!

I already have a Core Skel-Knight, and I like him, too. The skirt comes off with him, as well, and maybe the armor?
Not to drift off-topic, but I like him and the Core line quite a bit, not just because of the price.
Even though I’ll always be a fan of the chunky Origins / vintage buck, for some of the movie figures I almost prefer the Core proportions… I know, sacrilegious! 😱
Perhaps it’s because I saw the Core (and Chronicles) versions first, plus all the movie photos… the Origins look at times a bit too wide.
BUT, for Tri-Klops, the Origins version is my favorite and the only one I’m getting, the others look a bit too skinny for me. He looks like a great figure and I am looking forward getting him from Target in a couple weeks.
Trap-Jaw looks to be released on July 2nd, so yeah, I hope he’ll be here soon, too. I do have the great Chronicles version, I am looking forward to having another interpretation. In his case, I don’t mind having him double!

So are there any rumors of more CC 200x figures on the way or are they probably done?
