So it sounds like for Gray/He-Ro, they have adapted the DC Comics continuity of him being the son of King Grayskull and Queen Veena. Personally I like that as it steamlines what Classics continuity did and still keeps him tied to the ancestry of Adam and Adora.
My theory about Roboto– they changed the design so much since they wanted Him to be a Her? This way it feels like a whole new character and is less… controversial? So we’re not changing traditional Roboto into a girl?@smitty-81 Even though I'm still confused as to why they needed to change Roboto so much, I cannot deny how badass that figure looks! Me want!!
I already got the Core Roboto, so now i’m not sure if I want another version… 🤔 Also I’m planning to get the other chunky CC 200X version 🤪

I finally got my Origins movie Beast Man!
He is a BIG boy! Great sculpt and articulation - except for his head... his "beard" makes it difficult to turn his head from left to right.
I love the real "fur" pelt on his shoulders and the fact that he can store his knife in his belt.
This is another great example of the 2026 movie taking the familiar and adjusting it just enough to be different, without jumping the shark.
Now, where the hell are Man-At-Arms and Tri-Klops??

Man! Trap-Jaw looks like a solid figure!!
As much as I like the Chronicles figures, Origins is my jam... I really cannot wait to assemble the entire 2026 movie collection for my Origins shelf!
Indeed, Tri-Klops and Spikor are going to look tiny next to Beast Man and Trap-Jaw!
Regardless, these images give me hope that Trappy is going to start showing up in Walmart stores very soon! (Fingers crossed!)

Man I wish my local Target would do an end cap instead of putting them in random places.
I have four Target stores all within a few miles of each other... two of them are mega stores and always do the endcap displays for movie releases.
I am going to hit them up this coming weekend... I'm pretty sure they've replaced the Mario Galaxy endcap with MOTU by now!
(I am considering picking up another Origins He-Man to do some kit-bashing... the only real problem is that the movie He-Man has a much lighter skin tone than the Vintage and CC figures.)

Oh man, I just checked my Walmart.com pre-order status for Origins Movie Trappy, I wasn’t sure, apparently I have to wait till July 1st for him? Ugh…
That’s what you get for doing it “the right way”.
He looks great, I had concerns about the proportions but I do like how his arm feels bigger than the Chronicles version.
I don’t mind that you plug his other weapons into the cannon. The movie cannon feels like something’s missing anyway 😏

Another reason why I'm excited for the 1987 movie characters to appear in Origins... better likenesses to the actors / characters. (And hopefully, Dolph and Langella figures.)
