@cosmic I took the leap of faith, though, as it was inconceivable not to get her (see my avatar, LOL). Besides, in the context of the current uncertainty surrounding Masterverse, I may no longer experience the thrill of the chase once Wun-dar hits our shelves. Speaking of which, he is starting to appear online, and, unsurprisingly, I am embracing this new figure with a sense of discovery, as I haven't bought He-Man or Faker, which makes this face sculpt particularly appealing to me. Not to mention the array of details and innovative accessories that this figure comes with!
@onlyoneskeletor thanx for the pics bro...I'll get both Lyn and Wundar of course, even though I don't see the point of having Wundar, but never mind...I'll get everything Masterverse related...I refuse to buy movie figures (Chronicles and the other Pygmy line)...VC is the only MOTU line worth buying now, we'll see about these non-movie Chronicles figures, I think Clawful is next up...actually that will be a skip for me, New Eternia version is awesome...
@yen1893 And guess what? Wun-Dar is another touchy subject for me. As if we French fans haven’t dealt with enough political restrictions keeping the movie out of our theaters, I’ve now found out that eBay has a rule preventing anyone in the USA from sending toys to the UK due to differences in international toy safety regulations. The workaround is to change the classification from “Toy” to “Collectible” or something similar, but that’s entirely up to the seller’s discretion and goodwill. So, in short, if anyone here is willing to help with this issue, I’d be more than happy to accept the support.
@onlyoneskeletor Yeah I’ll probably try to get both of them, too. Though I have concerns that one of them will be reasonably easy to get, while the other will be a huge pain in the neck.
I also have so far skipped both anniversary He-Man and VC Faker (I prefer Revolution BA He-Man and NE Faker), even though the Faker head is pretty great. They improved a lot upon the He-Man head.
With Wun-Dar, they seem to have added (more?) white in the eyes, and in this pic it makes him look a bit anime-ish. They might have overshot a bit. But l, probably not enough for me to skip him. He’s a new character in the line! lol

Toy News International reports that Evil Lyn will be up for Walmart Con, which is July 23rd and 24th. No further infos yet.

Do I really need another MV Evil-Lyn… well, the thing is that before ending the line, they finally make the Evil-Lyn I always wanted from them, so I guess yes??
@cosmic Let’s cross our fingers, really tight, so the Masterverse line can keep going a bit longer after those two (Wun-Dar included). I’d be truly inconsolable if Jitsu (that NE version, ahem…) along with Kobra Khan, Leech, King Hsss, and others were left trapped in Despondos forever. On a more serious note, I’ve ended up rejecting Chronicles despite the few exciting things it’s offered so far, Orko included! And he was incredibly appealing! Sadly, it’s become political for me, so I’m voting with my wallet. P.S. Evil-Lyn just arrived here, and she’s fan-tas-tic!

Well Collector Con has started, Origins Skell-Knight is sold out in a minute, but Evil-Lyn has disappeared from the site altogether? I logged on before the official time and she was already not on it. Uuuugh…
@cosmic Just to add to the confusion and bitterness surrounding this thread, she’s actually pretty easy to find in Europe. All this nonsense about the Masterverse Vintage Collection really needs to end!

@onlyoneskeletor It’s because here, she’s a Walmart exclusive, that is always terrible.
You might by now have heard our many complaints… Online, their website must be infested with bots that order immediately and automatically, when the (MOTU) exclusive is put up. Hence, sold out in minutes (seconds??).
The stores on the other hand, seem to be very hit and miss, and have a similar problem, when collectors hit up friendships with people who work there, getting first dibs on hot new stuff.
The toy companies are dependent on doing deals with Target and WM, but WM just doesn’t care at all about the collectors, they just want to sell (out) as quickly as possible.
So the hits are probably welcome to them
Has anyone been able to order Evil-lyn (or Wun-dar) on the Walmart website?
I am guessing she never went up as advertised for their collector con…
@grayskullguardsman I don't believe she went up for sale, only saw the page with pre-release filler and no order button. (now I'm getting "not found")
She didn’t go up at the advertised time. Not existent on the site.
I kept checking, no dice.
Then an hour later or so she was up, I hadn’t checked in a bit, but she was listed as sold out.
The next day or she changed periodically from being there but sold out, and her page being mint existent. Which it stayed now.

Now that Mattel has said they want to do more with Masterverse, what do you guys expect will come from it?
@kinggrayskull09 well, there's about 15 characters left, from the main roster...if they want to do the right thing, I think King Hiss should be step 1...they can check what Mondo did with Hiss and do something similar...after Hiss, just continue with Snakemen, since we don't have any (Kobra Khan excluded, in my book, he is in Skeletor's crew)
If they were to simply continue their Vintage Collection (through cursed Walmart), I would expect they continue with more “earlier” (and easier to produce) characters. Following the 8backs, next could be Kobra Khan (again), Whiplash, Fisto,…

Looking at Masterverse as a whole, yeah we’re missing all the snakes, and the Comet Warriors, but also Rio Blast and Extendar… those are all harder to produce, something the VC has shied away from.
Somehow, I could see them making the “harder” characters rather for MCreations?
But Walmart seems to be the place for MV, pact with the devil lol. I guess if it gets us more figures,…
