when I placed the order at BBTS for Mantenna and Mosquitor few days ago, the price per figure was 23.99 $...now I see the price is 26.49$ per figure...they changed the price in the meantime...I will buy it anyway, but that's not cool...I also received an email from BBTS saying that the pre-orders will be processing soon, so I guess the figures are coming either today or in next couple of days...btw, few of AE He Men is back in stock
I just got a notice that the new wave is going to be ready to ship from BBTS soon. So I guess October was accurate.
With the orange buffoons stupid BS tariffs, the price went from $23.99 to $26.49. Add TN. sales tax + shipping and we're talking close to $30 per figure. I think I'm gonna cancel my order & just wait to see what happens with Amazon or Walmart. This BS is unacceptable.
The stupid, lying ass-clown just bragged to the UN General Assembly that prices in America are down & he has totally defeated inflation. He makes me sick! Nothing I detest more than liars.
I'd love to get them early but at least my Amazon orders are locked in at $23.99 each with their pre-order price guarantee.
Ok, I canceled AE He-Man & Mosquitor but I just couldn't cancel Mantenna. I can wait for the other 2 but not Mantenna. lol
@yen1893 He's right; tariffs are the reason for the unpleasant surprise. On a positive note, we've got another shopping list ready and waiting for Mattel's autumn catalogue to be released — it shouldn't be long now. 'Excited' would be an understatement as far as I'm concerned. I've already updated my wish list:

White may fit better with the barbaric NE world, but it would be honestly boring as a figure.

I do know they were sometimes sending stuff before BBTS. Ofc, everyone likes to free up storage space earlier rather than later..,
I don't know about any suspension but EE definitely took cartoon collection orders early. People could order them weeks before BBTS for a couple days and then EE removed the order pages.
@he-mayon I can't see the point when you can't even trust a devious seller. This only creates more problems in a society where inflation, scarcity and other unpleasant practices are commonplace. @cosmic Yes! The pink sorceress is appearing on the Flying Fist He-Man box art, and I thought she'd reinforce the pinkish colour tones of this new Masterverse roster that I speculated upon (lol). Don't mention the pile of loot to me; I'm going nuts waiting for the right item to arrive so that I can finally leave with the latest Masterverse figures I ordered.
Well, it's the 15th & I don't see any new Mattel drops on EE. So maybe it's true. Any of you see anything?

I can't get them this month because the other day my Walmart had both Leader Class Megatronus & Onyx Prime. Megatronus has been sold out everywhere & Onyx has been $60 & $64 online. Everybody is starting to jack the prices up to Hasbro's new stupid, greedy MSRP. Walmart still has them for $55.99 each so I had to grab'em, it was my last chance to get them for that price. So now I'm broke. lol I'll get AE He-Man & Mosquitor next month.
@sci-fitsunami Yeah I get that… Megatronus is a cool figure! I have sinned myself quite a bit with the Origins CC Swiftwind + She-Ra, the 80th anniversary Retro He-Man + Skeletor… Lot of Origins this month.
The thing is Amazon here shows this Masterverse wave fulfillment in February– I can’t really wait that long lol
I suppose BBTS will have them in stock sometime soon when they fill the first preorders– or then again when they get more around… Xmas?
How are you getting them next month? Your Amazon lists them for November?
Ok, so here is the info I was looking for, EE listed all the new Masterverse and Origins stuff:
EE is also charging $27 like BBTS. Looks like each case has 2x Anti-Eternia He-Man, 1x Mosquitor & 1x Mantenna. I still cannot believe Anti-Eternia He-Man is more popular than the other 2. That is seriously frying my brain.

I meant I'll try to get them next month or some time before Feb. If they show up somewhere else like Walmart or Target. Does Target still carry Masterverse? All I ever see on there is Origins.
I'm not paying $27 each, TN. sales tax is way too high for that. I'm ok with getting 1 Mantenna now & then waiting for the rest from Amazon.
@admin Well, it seems that this week is dedicated to listing various items that have recently been seen on the web, such as Origins 200X and VC Masterverse. I'm still hoping that the long-awaited, revamped catalogue, which is usually presented during this period, will be unveiled as soon as possible. I'd really like to know, Mattel, especially regarding MV: will there be more Snake Men? Will there be at least one slot dedicated to obscure characters? A Mask of Power Demons would be a nice addition at this point. Anyway...
@sci-fitsunami Alright I had to do something… cancelled my Mosquitor on BBTS… and my (only) 200X CC, Stratos.
I hope they won’t punish me by putting me last in line for the two other MV preorders…
Have Mosquitor preordered from Amazon… had him ordered on both sites funny enough, hoping he’ll come before next year from Amazon.
May have to cancel another thing from my other few random POs, last 30 days were heavy in purchases… Thanks Mattel haha Thankfully not everything that I like is selling out immediately… Looking at you, Thundercats Amazonian Warrior… heh

I think for the earlier prototype photo, they used a NE MAA figure and worked over it. Comes to show, pics with white background should not be over analyzed… they’re basically better placeholders.
I remember when they showed 40th anniversary He-Man, using the “dirty” body (or just limbs?) of Savage He-Man, and fans were losing their $&@#.
Aaanyway, this isn’t a bad MAA at all… I like the vintage inspired face… he’s more than just a mashup of REV and NE versions. Now I’m REALLY curious how that VC Mer Man will turn out…

I got the last Beast-Man based on Lords Of Power. That's "Vintage" enough for me.
The Vintage Collection is actually winning me over. I bought a 3D printed Moth-Man head off eBay & I was looking for a good furry body for it. I don't want to totally repaint the orange/red Beast-Man buck so the gray Stratos is the best choice. I was looking at the Vintage Stratos & noticed he comes with both blue & red wings & backpack. Now THAT'S TOTALLY AWESOME! I have the NE Stratos so these new ones can be an Avion army builder. I want to put all blue on one & all red on another.
I am now interested in all of them. I may even get Man-At-Arms & then use my Revelation version for something else like a Palace Guard. Mer-Man looks great! Teela is also gonna be awesome with the new heads. I just wish they would make Scare-Glow, Buzz-Off, Webstor, Spikor, Stinkor & Clawful.
Funny thing, I bought 2 NE Teelas for customs but both of mine have eyes that are looking straight ahead. Mine don't look goofy or looking up at all, they just have as very serious expression with normal eyes. I guess I got lucky?
I just noticed the Vintage Man-At-Arms seems to come in a brighter Michelangelo green instead of the olive Donatella green. I like the brighter green better. Masterverse Ninja Turtles anyone? lol
@sci-fitsunami Yeah I mean, this Vintage Collection is doing the vintage Original 8 obviously, plus Faker and EvilLyn just because… so Man-At-Arms was obviously gonna come… no matter how many we already have.
The different green plus a new face do make him look a bit unique from the others.
I’m definitely getting Stratos, he’s my favorite character and is quite different from NE and very Classic. “Vintage” Mer Man looks so goofy but he’s winning me over despite… or because of that! Big chest is a nice plus.
I guess if it does well enough, we may see those other characters!

When I was a kid, the one thing I hated about MOTU figures was the pre-posed squatting legs that made them look like they were constantly taking a dump. The only reason I got into Origins was to get my original collection back with the new knee & elbow articulation. But I'm mainly a Masterverse guy so I should be totally embracing this Vintage Collection. It's exactly what I wanted since I missed/skipped Classics.
I totally skipped Classics because I was pissed at how they handled 200x. My absolute favorite MOTU characters are Scare Glow, Spikor, Webstor, Clawful, Stinkor, Mantenna & Buzz-Off. So when they finally started releasing my favorites like Stinkor, Clawful, Mantenna & Webstor after they switched to the stupid-ass stactions I was done with MOTU.
Classics came along & I didn't even bother because just like 200x, I was sure they wouldn't make all the characters. So when they did make all the characters it was like a 2nd slap in the face.
Now Origins is going on 6 years & they still haven't finished all the characters in the Vintage line. I want to get into this Masterverse Vintage collection but once again, I'm afraid to start it because they probably won't make all the characters. I don't like starting collections if they're going to drop it halfway. I have Faker & next month when I get more money I'm planning to pick up Zodac. I'm gonna need at least 4 of Stratos. And I already want Mer-Man & Teela. So I guess I'm in even though we'll probably never get a complete set.
I doubt Walmart will keep the Vintage Collection going long enough so maybe in the future it will also move over to be another Mattel Creations exclusive which they'll drag out until 2055. lol
There's one last Anti-Eternia He-Man available from BBTS for anyone who's interested. Although they mention additional quantities later on, based on my experience with the Ultimates Invisible Tygra, I would advise placing your order promptly.

@sci-fitsunami Interesting, the different takes of fans… the “proposed” legs of vintage didn’t bother me one bit… for me it added to the way how wide they were, how square the shape, just so much power! I loved it them so much.
I was not interested in toys in the 2000s, but I’d say the preposed aspect is much worse with 200X, plus they’re kinda scrawny. Really good ideas and some good figures but mostly, I feel they just didn’t work.
I also missed Classics but got into them just a few years ago. The basic concept is fantastic but the deeper they got into vintage, the less the figures worked, with bulky armor and the arms visually appearing shorter.
Instead of spending $$$$ to complete that, I have a nice partial view if Eternia and jumped into Origins and MV because they are happening NOW.
So I’m all over the place lol. But I’m not really planning much and don’t care much about completeness as long as it’s intentional selection or substantial.
I guess Origins is where I’m trying to complete the vintages. It’s my biggest collection.
'TikTok', Mattel! Now that Wave 19 is starting to be shipped to your customers, you no longer have any way to keep the fire alive. It's time to renew the offer.

@Cosmic I had 2 problems with the legs:
1. They were permanently stuck in a battle pose. While the females could stand there looking normal & relaxed the males couldn't.
2. The ridiculous size of the vehicle's cockpits like the Wind Raider, Roton, Bashasaurus, Land Shark & Talon Fighter. A minor nitpick but I would've preferred a normal straight leg with a knee joint and an actual seat with controls & instrument panel. Origins fixed it for me, now if they would only release the last few figures.
