While there is no official release date in sight other than a ballpark timeline of “Early 2027” (that may or may not hold true), a large portion of the voice cast for the hotly anticipated, twice delayed “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction” video game has participated in a joint reveal yesterday (and today) to promote the game’s eventual arrival.
Dropping their announcements on social media, here is what the voice cast (and casting director) had to say:

Voice work for video games can range from simple grunts and groans to full blown dialog and narration, so it will be interesting to see where this new He-Man video game lands on the very-little to robust, voice work spectrum.
Either way, we are excited to see Masque officially part of the roster!

Yay, receiving official updates is alleviating a lot of my worry about this game actually being released! I’m curious now if voice acting was added on after they decided to postpone the game or if it was the plan from the beginning. If it was and we’re just getting this news, then it seems like the studio was waaaaaay far behind in development. My opinion anyway.
I guess they realised people are getting concerned. Good on them for at least trying to provide some updates.
That being said, I hope they’re more careful when moving forward with other potential video game projects.
