THE REIGN IS OVER: “Masters of the Universe” falls to the #2 Spot for Movies Worldwide on Amazon’s Official Prime Video Weekly Rankings (after 5 Weeks at #1)
After being declared the #1 Movie Worldwide on Amazon’s weekly official streaming network rankings chart for over five weeks…
.. and being declared the #1 Overall Streaming Content Worldwide in its first week according to the Neilson Ratings…
…Amazon has released their official rankings from August 24th to August 30th and “Masters of the Universe” has finally dropped to the #2 spot over at Prime Video, beaten out by the new romantic drama “The Last Sunrise“. Here are the details:
Top 10 Prime Original films (English & non-English) worldwide: Aug 24-Aug 30
If you recall, according to the analytics of FlixPatrol, “The Devil’s Mouth“ unseated “Masters of the Universe” from the #1 spot weeks ago (for several individual days) but ultimately couldn’t muster enough power to win an entire week…
…but finally in He-Man’s sixth week of streaming on Amazon’s network, it finally lost a week to a competing movie.
Can “Masters of the Universe” regain the power in its seventh week? We will have to wait and see… but either way, it was a good run while it lasted.

I’d be very surprised if the performance in question could threaten either a possible sequel or the future of the franchise at this point. So, I guess we can just let it rest once and for all.

Well it was cool and fun to see more people talk about it online.
