When we were at Hollywood last week covering everything “Masters of the Universe” Movie, a small 24 second music clip on X had dropped.
Announced by the British hard rock and glam metal band The Darkness, the snippet contained a small portion of their “Masters of the Universe” movie theme song with the following statement:
“When He-Man asked whether we could provide some music for his forthcoming biopic Masters of the Universe we dusted off our trusty loin cloths, assembled in the courtyard of Castle Darkness and bellowed in unison WE HAVE THE POWER”

Well now the full headbanging track has dropped on places like YouTube…

This song is so good. It’s been stuck in my head for days. I love the campy lyrics (“t’was ever thus") and the music and singing (we’re the Low-OOOWDS of Power") are superb. Just wish it had a longer guitar solo.

hm… I does not really feel it with that song. Sounds a bit generic at the moment.
