Written by Earlier today during HE-MANIACS LIVE, we featured a very casual unboxing of the mysterious “GOLDEN SKELETOR” action figure in black Kids/First Ones/Core packaging.
While we completely explored the action figure itself, fans were still in the dark regarding ordering details for the Evil Lord of Destruction (other than the new figure would be available at Walmart.)
Well now, thanks to the awesome Michael at Toy Habits, he reached out and gave us a ‘heads up‘ that there were some figures in silhouette for the upcoming Walmart Collector Con Spring 2026:
And if you brighten up the silhouette in the top right corner, it reveals the “Golden Skeletor” in question!
So now we know the “Golden Skeletor” will be available for pre-order during this month’s “Collector Con”!
Now the question will be, will Walmart’s Collector Con (dubbed as “Cancel Con“ by collectors) cancel our pre-orders after we place them? Only time will tell.
The “Walmart Collector Con Spring 2026” online event will kick off March 19, 2026 at 10am ET / 7am PT on Walmart.com.

I don’t really understand what this figure is supposed to be. It says Alcala inspired, yet Skeletor never had all those gaudy gold accents in those early comics, so…what is the point of this? Also, the BS in the copy is hilarious – “classic sunken eyes" – skulls don’t have eyes, lol!Also, the buck is way too scrawny. Ozempic MOTU is a fail.
