We have the Power!
I haven't seen it yet, but those critics are missing the point. It is supposed to be fun, not amazing.
I don't know why I do this to myself, but I just have to read why people don't like this movie...
In the latest round of "reviews," one guy claims that MOTU "has socialist undertones" and is "deeply disturbing."
🤣 🤣 🤣
These people are out of touch!
>>>The Power of the Good and the Way of the Magic!<<<
I LOVE this movie, and no amount of critics stupid opinions will change that.
Just got home from the theater. Wow!! Loved it!!! A little lighter in tone than I would have liked, but it was great. Skeletor is fantastic, the voice the movements, just so awesome. Oh and the sword, it has always been about the sword for me and it is perfect.
Well, today my sister and I went to the cinema to see Masters Of The Universe.
Now, I have to say, I didn't like it.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
I loved everything about it, the cast, the story, the characters, the scenery on Eternia, the magic, the battles, the Earth scenes and the mid/end credit scenes.
Evil-Lyn remains my favourite character and Alison Brie was perfect. I just wish her battle with Teela was just a little bit longer, but I loved that scene. Speaking of Teela, Camila Mendes was also fabulous.
Nicholas Galitzine was brilliant as Adam/He-Man, Jared Leto was the perfect Skeletor, Idris Elba was amazing as Man-At-Arms and all the assorted Heroic & Evil Warriors were awesome.
I am dying to tell more, but I don't want to spoil too much for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Now, I already knew the spoilers being the curious lad I am, but actually seeing and hearing them sent me into seventh heaven.
I must have and need to have sequels and spin-offs, they can't just let this be the end of the story and characters and what may be possible in future stories. I am desperate! I have to see it many more times and I am definitely buying the DVD when it is released - it is already listed online but without an actual release date yet. I bought the novel, the colouring books and activity pads and the storybooks associated with the movie, I couldn't help myself. As you know I also got some figures (He-Man & Tri-Klops) the other day before seeing the movie, and I MUST have an Evil-Lyn!
You absolutely MUST see this movie!

I went to see it yesterday. I was enthusiastic because of the positive trend of critics. But I didn't like it. First reason is that I disagree that it has a mix of heart, action and humor. Yes, it had action, no heart that I could see and it was a comedy, let's call things by their real name.
Well, if that was the tone Mattel preferred to sell toys, that's OK. But did we need Adam/He-man to be so dumb? And Duncan a drunkard? This Adam is just a clown, not someone who pretends to be a clown.
Personally liked it, my pals did also like it and this was the first MOTU related thing they ever saw! They think Adam being useless made sense since he grew up on Earth and all that.
