Actor Jared Leto was terrific as Skeletor. However, what we assume was due to controversy surrounding the actor outside the film, Jared Leto was excluded from the multiple movie premieres, the press junkets and perhaps was the reason Leto couldn't even speak to us (reported HERE). However now, someone who worked on the film perhaps accidentally let one image slip through revealing our first behind-the-scenes look at Jared Leto as Skeletor before the computer generated skull face! According to a new interview, Jared didn't do any method acting, or crazy stuff, he just acted like a normal person and Travis had fun with him. I don't get why he's not in the marketing.
Probably the studio being cautious, and rightfully so I think.

There are a people who dislike him, because of the previous allegations, also Mattel probably doesn’t want those allegations to be brought up during movie marketing.
@smitty-81 I don't think those leaks about him not liking the movie are true, I think he is either trying to stay away so he doesn't ruin the marketing, or he's upset that the studio doesn't want him to do press. Because he's liked posts about the movie and Skeletor on Instagram:

I don't know much about that. I just know he's a weird dude and anything he could do would distract from the movie.
