Based on some low viewership numbers for Revolution, we always felt that the Kevin Smith showrun Masters of the Universe: Revelation and Revolution Netflix series realistically could only be continued as a comic book. We have the Power!
I mean, I love comics, but I was holding out hope…
If he didn’t say series, maybe it could be an animated (straight to streaming) feature film…?
Shows like this take a couple years to make. The next one would have been worked on and out already if they ever really had an intention of doing another.
We have had a lot of MOTU comics lately, it’s quite amazing, a REV Trequel would fit into that mix (even though it’ll get confusing with continuities).
But it would be less special now, with all those other series already going on.
This is still great news and we should be thankful we are getting a continuation at all. I sure am!
Dark Horse should hold off with the anthology until part three comes out.
