MasterChef Australia Season 18 (2026) - Coming Soon

The promo for the coming new season of MasterChef just aired, with all new contestants. I don't know how many contestants there are, what they all look like or all their names yet, but if the following link works, you can see several of them interacting with our esteemed returning judges - Sofia Levin, Poh Ling Yeow, Andy Allen & Jean-Christophe Novelli.😀 The seasons usually begin in April (I'm not sure of the exact start date), and more information and pictures are sure to be shown before the season actually begins. I am so excited! 😀

These 6 contestants will join Alyona to have a chance to play for an Immunity Pin tomorrow night which will get the winner out of trouble in a future Elimination Challenge.

So to recap - Alyona, along with Aaron, Annabel, Hannah, Jackie, Lydia & Miin will have this opportunity tomorrow to play for the Immunity Pin offered by guest chef Khanh Ong.

Tonight on MasterChef, Khanh Ong joined the judges to set a Sandwich Challenge. The six winning contestants from last night (Aaron, Annabel, Hannah, Jackie, Lydia & Miin) plus Alyona had to create an epic sandwich in order to win the Immunity Pin on offer. This time they were allowed to use pre-made bread from the pantry.

Everyone performed well tonight, but the Immunity Pin was won by Jackie who now has a safety net in the future if she needs it. I was a bit dubious about her chances earlier on in the season, but she has proven my judgement wrong I'm happy to say. Well Done Jackie!

Tonight on MasterChef, our esteemed judges were joined by British culinary sensation Rick Stein. The contestants were given a Mystery Box with a range of ingredients and they were given a generous choice of 100 or so spices they could choose from. The pantry and garden were closed, but they had the under the bench staples.

The four best dishes would win Immunity from tomorrow night's Global Food Elimination.

The four contestants who are safe are Alyona, Casper, Grace & Miin.
