However, this WAS an Elimination Challenge, so there were a few clunkers. The 4 Bottom Dishes (no photos) were made by Annabel, Emily, Petro & Vinnie.
 
 
Annabel - Barbecued Octopus Tentacle, Whipped Bottarga & Salsa Verde. Unfortunately, the sauce and the octopus overpowered the roe puree.
 
Emily - Pork, Prawn & Banana Blossom Spring Rolls. Unfortunately, the banana blossom was barely there at all and lacked flavour and texture in this dish. She completely missed the brief.
 
Petro - Alheira Sausage, White Bean Puree, Marinated Octopus & Grape Salad. Unfortunately, there was just too much going on in this dish and none of it was cohesive.
 
Vinnie - Prawn & Bottarga Ravioli. Unfortunately, the pasta work was not his best, his brown butter needed more acidity, and there was too much bottarga on the plate - it was overpowering and unbalanced.

As I knew (because of the misplaced spoiler a few days ago), the person who went home was Emily. Bye Emily!

Tomorrow night is the Ice Cream Immunity Challenge, and Wednesday is the Complex Crab Elimination Pressure Test with guest chef Sam Aisbett.
