Casper - Tom Yum Mussels & Rice. Unfortunately, he tried to mix pipis in with the mussels and they took over, the mussel flavour was very subdued as a result.

Hannah - Spaghetti & Mussels, Pangrattato, Tomato Sauce & Chilli Oil. Unfortunately, the other elements overpowered the mussels which were incorrectly prepared and cooked, some still had their "beards" on and were not clean enough.

The Top 2 Dishes were made by Alyona & Petro.
 
 
Emily, Luke & Pat did well but they were in the middle tonight.
 
 
The Bottom 2 Dishes were made by Casper & Hannah.
 
 
 
Sadly, it was Hannah who had the most flaws in her dish so she was Eliminated. Bye Hannah!
 
 
Also sadly, no more MasterChef until Sunday! Details of what is happening next week will come soon.

*Another guest - Sam Aisbett - is scheduled for the week, I just don't know when.

*I am assuming Wednesday is an Elimination.

 

*I think MasterChef has unwittingly just shown us who DOESN'T get Eliminated on Monday night as in this photo from Tuesday night, you can clearly see Luke, Aaron, Casper, Vinnie, Alyona & Petro. This must mean either Annabel, Emily or Pat gets Eliminated on Monday night.

 

*I also think that's Emily behind Alyona, so I am sad to see it is Annabel or Pat going home on Monday. I love MasterChef but they need to be more careful with their spoilers.

Tonight on MasterChef is the Flavours Of India Mystery Box with guest Sanjeev Kapoor!

 

It is an Immunity Challenge tonight so someone will be safe from tomorrow's International Ingredients themed Elimination. The person who wins the Immunity also wins a personal one-on-one Masterclass with Sanjeev that will be available to watch online and give the lucky contestant more online exposure.

Tomorrow night - Monday - is the first Elimination of the week and the theme is International Ingredients, including banana flowers! 
 
The maker of the Best Dish tomorrow will win a $10,000 travel voucher!
 
Also, Casper has a choice tomorrow - he can be in on the chance to win the voucher IF he gives up his Immunity to cook with the others. I'm not sure if he will have to give up the Masterclass as well, but I wonder which he chooses. We know Casper is NOT Eliminated tomorrow as he is one of the contestants cooking on Tuesday as seen in the photo below.

Although thanks to the accidental *spoiler* posted on Instagram I already know who is going home tomorrow. I did say in my last message that I knew it had to be one of three "missing" contestants going home based on a photo of Tuesday's episode leaked online, but someone - a fellow online fan - pointed out that two of those people are in the photo (even though you can only see an arm for one and the top of a head for another). Process of elimination (pun intended) means that I already know who goes home tomorrow as I said earlier. I won't spoil it for you guys though.
 
 Whoops! No more spoilers please people!

Tuesday is the Ice Cream Immunity Challenge and Wednesday is the Complex Crab Pressure Test Elimination.
 
I can't believe after this week we will see the current 9 contestants dwindle down to 7 contestants, with only 4 more Eliminations before the Semi-Final & Grand Finale. That's roughly only 3 more weeks before the end of the season.
 
Then we wait until 2027 for the next season.

Japan - Sancho Pepper - NO TAKERS
Vietnam - Banana Blossom - Emily
 
There were several fabulous dishes but the most impressive dish won its maker a $10,000 travel voucher to go sampling food from all over the world (after the contest is over of course).

Personally, Pat's winning dish is NOT something that I would want to eat, but I do like him a lot and am glad he won. By the way, his dish was called "Juniper Roo" (Kangaroo, Pomme Puree, Juniper Berry Sauce, Barbecued Asparagus, Juniper Berry & Gin Pickled Beetroot).

*Casper had a choice whether to gamble his Immunity that he won last night in order to cook tonight and possibly win the voucher.  Of course he would risk being Eliminated if he gambled and lost. He chose not to gamble and keep his Immunity. Also, Casper was still able to keep his MasterClass with Sanjeev Kapoor for winning last night, so he still has that experience.
