The Top 2 dishes were made by Hannah & Luke and Pat & Petro.
 
 
Aaron & Vinnie were somewhere right in the middle.
 
 
The 2 Bottom Dishes were made by Casper & Emily and Alyona & Annabel. 
 
 
 
However, the least impressive dish was that made by Casper & Emily so they are headed straight into the only Elimination Challenge on Wednesday. They will not be cooking again this week until then.

Monday is the Fridge Challenge, the 8 contestants cooking have to choose a fridge full of ingredients chosen by one of the judges - either Andy, Poh, Sofia or Jean-Christophe.
 
 
Tuesday will be another Team Challenge set by Judge Jean-Christophe (with coloured aprons again -  but I don't know if it is a Service Challenge or not), while Wednesday is the Massaman Curry themed evening (I'm not sure exactly yet what that entails other than the fact that it is the sole Elimination for the week). 
 
After this week, there will be 6 more Eliminations before the Semi-Final in a few weeks.

Tonight on MasterChef was the Fridge Challenge. The contestants (except for Casper & Emily who have been sent straight into the Elimination Challenge on Wednesday) have a choice of one of four fridges stocked by one of the judges, they have to choose either Poh's fridge, Sofia's fridge, Andy's fridge or Jean-Christophe's fridge. The catch is that they will NOT know what is in their fridge until after they have chosen it.

Luke - Portuguese Custard Tart & Caramelised Fig Ice Cream (Sofia). Unfortunately, the tarts ended up being burned, he had tried to cook them in the air fryer and then finish them in the oven, and he scorched them. The ice cream was highly praised though.

Hannah - Chicken Breast, Confit Baby Leeks, Carrot Puree & Champagne Beurre-Blanc (Jean-Christophe). Sadly, most of her elements were under seasoned and there was too much butter in the sauce and pretty much everything else too.

With the exception of 2 contestants/dishes, everyone performed very well.
 
 
However, the maker of the BEST DISH won a surprise $5000 LG (Appliances) Voucher. This lucky contestant is Petro (for his fabulous cannoli). Well Done Petro!

The makers of the BOTTOM 2 DISHES will automatically join Casper & Emily in Wednesday's Elimination Challenge. These unlucky contestants were Luke (because of his burned tarts) & Hannah (because her dish was incohesive, under seasoned, too buttery and bland).
 
 
Tomorrow night is a return of the coloured aprons for a Team Service Challenge set by Andy & Jean-Christophe for the judges and a group of mystery diners. The 6 contestants cooking will be divided into 2 teams of 3 - Team Yellow & Team Orange.
 
That means the team of 3 contestants who win tomorrow will have Immunity from the Elimination on Wednesday which is the Massaman Curry Challenge for all the unfortunate contestants who made all this week's Bottom Dishes, including Casper, Emily, Hannah, Luke and whichever team of 3 loses the challenge tomorrow.

Tonight on MasterChef, the 6 contestants who were actually cooking were divided into two teams of 3 and were told that either Judge Andy or Judge Jean-Christophe would be leading their team. They were told that they had to create 2 courses (a main and a dessert) for Judge Sofia, Judge Poh and a group of Mystery Diners.
 
With the exception of judges JC & Andy of course, the team who lost the challenge will join Sunday & Monday's losing contestants Casper, Emily, Hannah & Luke in tomorrow night's Elimination.

 
The star ingredients were oranges and pineapples and they had to feature in both courses for their respective teams.

Team Pineapple (Andy + Aaron, Annabel & Vinnie): 
 
Dessert: Charred Pineapple, Pineapple Salsa, Fish Sauce Caramel, Roasted Coconut Ice Cream & Macadamia Crumb
 
*Annabel was going to add sweet roti to the main dish but time got the better of her and that element had to be scrapped. However, it would have been an unnecessary addition to a perfect dish after all. The dessert was also flawless.
