So next month I'm going to a con. A franchise specific con of which I won't name. My cosplay I'm crafting is a fusion/crossover of Hordak and [REDACTED] because I find them to be different yet very similar characters and I wanna incorporate elements of both. It's my first cosplay so it may be a bit amatuer-ish but I don't care. For the Hordak elements, I have white makeup and hairspray and a red cape. Ordered a long sleeve black shirt with the She-Ra '18 Horde symbol on it. Will hairspray my head blue down the middle.
What I'm asking in terms of what I should get is should I wear black or gray pants? And does anyone know a site where I can order something like his forearm armor that are pointed at the back? (gauntlets?) Armor that's probably plastic and cheap.
I ain't a crafter, just trying to get resources I can get.
Quite the shadow of the Horde if I do say so myself.
Unfortunately, it's hard to give a definitive answer on the pants without actually seeing the cosplay itself. Maybe black pants to go with black shirt?
As for the armor, I'd recommend you try ebay or etsy. Sometimes amazon has stuff, but that's more situational.
