After I bought the regular digital OST I was surprised it was not part of it; instead we got one the I did not recalled from the movie (called just "Master of the Universe" and felt quite "Princes of" inspired).
Unless I missed it maybe that was made for the movie but switched last minute for the Princes of the Universe remix because someone felt the other one was not good enough?
To be honest... in both cases they should have just picked the OG Queen song or go for something entirely different. It felt too much like "we actually want the original but some compulsive urge forced us to make some hommage/inspired by out of it".
The main theme and riff is a total banger; I love it. But the whole OST kinda feels it lacks diversity. I doubt an XXL version will change that.
I would add a physical though if it gets an release.

I don't but listening to it right now. And yeah; I can see it (or... well... rather hear it). Its a really neat song. Maybe its just my subjective feeling but I don't feel the same energy in the MOTU song they did. Did it played in the movie? I honestly don't recall 🤔 Just that when I heard it in the OST that I was surprised there aint the Princes remix on it and thought that this might had intended to play instead at the prison scene but got swapped last second.
I'll prolly listen into the OST again during the day; just to make sure I did not got mixed up something.
Oof, The Darkness released “Believe” 23 years ago. I was hoping “Masters” would have had more energy also, but 20+ years takes its toll.

Nice. More music! I checked on Amazon. It doesn't give me the option to buy the MP3's. Hopefully it does get a physical release.
