That 4 pack isn't quite as interesting as the last one, but it's decent. At least it fleshes out some of the Eternian races, which hasn't been done before. Also, at least there's a little bit of new tooling, which is key to get fan buy-in for stuff like this. Is Sepult-Ro a unique character? Seems so, so I'll be very interested to see how they'll shoe horn him into the lore...

I find unanticipated releases like this both refreshing (because they expand MOTU in ways we haven't seen) yet also frustrating because there are still many other characters still waiting to be released for a long time that have been shown on art work. Where's Plasmar? Strobo??

Slime Pit is cool, but it feels like a missed opportunity if it doesn't include Slime Pit He-Man, a much desired variant (just look at the value of the Classics version!). I'm sure Mattel's cynical ploy is to release him separately because there's no way they'll miss out on selling us a cheap repaint! 🤣

@durendal I am a sucker for He-Man repaints... really hope he's included though.

I think the problem that Mattel is running into with Origins (and every other line / sub-line) is they keep delivering the most wanted figures in any given line first and when sales dwindle they don't have anything in reserve. At least with Origins they're still creating new figures (PoG, the recent 4-packs)

The new Chronicles (non-movie) may break this trend, we'll have to see

@kraken But we did get a Cartoon Collection version of him, including his separated characters who...never appeared in the cartoon 🤣

Aw c’mon, that Two-Bad set was pretty epic. CC was the focus then… I’m ok with a bit of creativity with the lore 😃

Of course, they did that thing where toy companies sell a lesser version of a character first… only to sell them the proper one later. Two sales out of one 😏

But somehow, I’m kind of satisfied with TB for now.

I like this new 4-pack. It’s less creative than the last, but more traditional collectors might find them more useful.

Kinda annoyed that the beast guy doesn’t use the (existing!) claw feet, the Avionian is a bit too dapper and human, the fish guy is bloated… (great head tho). It’s flawed, but I’ll take it.

P.S. PoG Gray has arrived!

The fact that Mattel continues to support the Origins line, even with all the movie chaos happening, makes me very happy!

The 4-pack and Slime Pit look great!

Is Sepult-Ro a unique character?

It a Sepult-Ro Disciple so yeah Sepult-Ro is a separate character but the guy in the set isn't him.

@smitty-81 Does anyone know who the actual Sepult-Ro is or what he looks like? Weird getting one of his cult followers before we even know who this guy is. I'm totally down for a potential new Big Bad in MOTU though. I wish there were lots more actually.

He just better not be a Trollan though. I'll never get over the disappointment of the reveal of the Unnamed One...

Maybe the evil He-Ro we say in Gray's mini comic?

I really like Expand-Or even if he's just a new head repaint.

Really bold palette on this Expand-Or, very effective. Funny that some of his gold / caramel parts are exactly where Extendar’s are.

Those red extensions are rad. It’s like his insides showing.

What’s your favorite stand for Origins? Something simple.

Ideally want to put it on the figure and then place it on my shelf together.

Anything similar for Masterverse?

@durendal I actually thought the Unnamed One was an awesome reveal.

A freaky powerful Trollan who uses his sorcery for evil is a cool idea! (IMHO)

I got my Origins movie Roboto the other day, and I really like her... a lot!

(The art card that comes in the package indisputably calls Roboto a "her.")

The articulation is standard Origins stuff, and surprisingly her head has a ridiculous amount of movement.

The sculpt is really well done too... the gears and sprockets inside her chest, back, and shoulders look great.

Plus, all of the regular pieces are swappable with other Origins figures! (However, Roboto is a BIG figure, so I'm not sure how good the parts would look with other pieces, but I'm really happy that they continue to include Origins' most under-appreciated feature.)

I am just so captivated by these Origins Movie figures! My biggest gripe with any of them so far has been the lack of mini-comics...

Man I wish my local Target would do an end cap instead of putting them in random places.

I stopped at Target yesterday and, sure enough, there was the endcap display!

It was only stocked with Core and Origins figures, along with a ton of Chronicles Battle Cats and cosplay Power Swords... (The rest of the Chronicles figures were in the regular toy aisle...)

Unfortunately, no Origins Trap-Jaw or Beast Man (for obvious reasons) nor Tri-Klops, Man-At-Arms, or Roboto.

I did pick up another He-Man however. (I swapped the gripping left hand out for an open-palm left hand.)

Good evening  from germany (10:34 p.m.)

At minute 5 and 40 seconds in the follwing video are picture auf 200X Origins Wave 6.

Trap Jaw, Syclone and... King Grayskull's Wife The Sorceress Lady Veena! YAY!

That let me hope after the shitty King Fabio in the Chronicles Line that we are becomming next in Wave 7 a better 200X Version of King Grayskull! 😜

PS: the pictures are from adultcollector.org but I have no facebook or instagram.

That's the Sorceress not Queen Veena.

Bought these two about five years ago. They were, and still are imo the best He-Man and Skeletor figures out there...

@kinggrayskull09 I agree with you on He-Man but Skeletor is debatable, his open mouth doesn't work for me.
