Wow! Cool stuff.
Meanwhile, I got James Jean “Coral” Skeletor and Panthor set. Had to have it.
Unfortunately can’t do both sets.
This Fright Frighter is amazing! At least I feel that all of this time spent in the desert has finally paid off.
Anyone think that this is the way they might give us the rest of the vehicles like Bashasaurus and Laser bolt?

I got my Laser Power He-Man today..... and he doesn't work! I push the button and nothing happens! I sent a report/complaint to Mattel we'll see what happens now.
Brand new out of the box there is no excuse for it not working. I even checked the paperwork to see it batteries were not included or there's some tab to remove first but there's nothing about that. From what it says, and looking at youtube in hand videos it should light up.

I find Origins Movie Spikor a bit… unfinished? Like he’s appropriate for Origins, but he looks do different from the other two.
Very excited about the Fright Fighter and this whole new wave of announcements!

Yeah I'm stoked for movie Origins figures and I hope they're planning on some 87 movie figures beyond the three from the vintage line.

Okay see I actually considered that possibility, but didn't see any tab on the figure nor did the paperwork say anything about removing it. However, I took another look at him and eventually found a tab. In my defense, it was not long and sticking out like in the video. Not sure if it was broken or I just got a stumpy tag for some reason but I had to take the figure apart and remove the backpack to access it. Once I got it out though he worked. So the figure's all good now.
....(mini comic sucks though) 😉
Sounds like you got a bad tab, usually on retail products its very long and says to remove before play, or something.

@lordofdestruction I wasn't aware it even came with a minicomic. I liked the story told in MOTU Classics minicomics about the Laser figures, even if it was a bit convoluted. I take it this Origins minicomic was a missed opportunity?

Missed opportunity for sure! I don't particularly like these small boxes; and for these figures a deluxe two pack with more art work would have been more appropriate.

Cool! I just wish this was a two-pack with both of the Laser figures....
People were mad about She-Ra and Swiftwind being $60, even though it was a $20 figure and a mount, Battle Cat was $25 MSRP, so we actually got a deal.
And people are mad about Laser Power He-Man being $33, good electronics aren't cheap. Imagine what they'd do it this was a $60 set.

This☝️I wouldn’t be mad but I do actually prefer the single releases, always prefer when the costs are lower per unit 🤷 Bigger chunks of $$$ are harder for me to budget.
