$300 for a playset that should've/could've been a BBTS/EE/Amazon exclusive for between $80-$125 MAX!  I would have ordered one for under $125. But $300 just makes me wanna punch someone. Or maybe everyone?

I don't really see much different between Snake Lair, Grayskull, Snake Mountain & the Fright Zone. They're all around the same size. 

And they just repainted Grayskull. That means they can repaint Snake Mountain & the Fright Zone in the future. But what about a repainted Snake Lair? Maybe if it wasn't a stupid crowdfund. 

The difference is nostalgia. Even "Lords of Power" Castle Grayskull. At this point the knowledge about the toys development is nostalgic.

I do think Snake Lair has some more separate parts and dazzle dazzle, paint. It’s not as simple as CG, even though it’s the same size.

In retail though, it wouldn’t have to be $300 obviously, b/c of the production run. I think it could have gone for $125-150.

Now a repainted one, without the snorse and iron maiden, now that the molds exist,… I still think they may keep the price a little higher, BUT Amazon would soon reduce it 😏

But yeah, without the nostalgia, I’m not sure if they would see it worth it,… and then making the original backers upset 😬

Has there been any word on the rumored upcoming releases of Adora, Scorpia and Glimmer?

I'm on pins and needles here.....is it happening? Or was it a hoax?

It’s occurred to me that this new “Lords Of Power” Castle Grayskull, showing the original 5 figures on the package… a lot of people don’t have that exclusive? So they won’t be able to re-create these scenes with their Castle.

Of course the Castle will go great with other figures, too. (I’m beginning to like it more and more!) It’s just that Mattel has created this expectation that the Castle and those 5 figures from the rare 5-pack belong together.

A bit similar to Snake Lair, about which Toy News Intl. has already made the observation, that quite a few late backers may not even have the original Lady Slither. And its her castle. Who to put on that throne? (Does King Hiss even fit on it? If yes, then nevermind 🙂

Mattel doesn’t benefit from people hunting for those figs on the aftermarket for outrageous prices… but I guess they don’t mind it either.

It's not even the first time they've been used, hopefully they appear somehow. Bloody annoying we only have two of them! I'm hoping a side effect of the movie is a boatload of Origins...

King Hiss was incredibly difficult to find, we know they have no sense but if they did they'd put him again on Cretins or Fan Favourite. Along with Thunder Punch and Stinkor. 

Do we know if Mattel are going to New York Comic Con? (God forbid it'd be easy to just search) Hasbro are doing announcements at it as are a bunch of film and game studios. 

@sketchyskeletor If Hasbro's there, even though Mattel makes the figures under license, maybe there's a chance there we'll get a look at the teased Adamus Prime and ScareglowScream figures and who knows maybe one or two more wild card tf collab figures that weren’t teased in the mini-comic?

But that's just wishful thinking *cough**cough**Galvatronhordak**cough*

I was thinking they may kickstart the movie madness then.

@slycooperastroboy51 I just want to see Hasbro's side of the Collab. The possible virtual event that @onlyoneskeletor mentioned is fine and probably better than trying to wait for Pixel Dan's videos.

Because the figures are a given I'd like to see motorized vehicles, preferably, but at least something like the Bashasauras since it's been teased so often. And they should really do a test on 'paks' whether weapons or stilts with weapons lol.

@sketchyskeletor Sign me up for an even bigger Bashasaurus vehicle! I love its dinosaur theme and impressive mass. A classic! As you say, it's been seen here and there, sadly much more often than my beloved Spidor, which has only been illustrated once to date. So, if I had to bet on the likelihood of the next vehicle, it would obviously be this one. Besides, it would be cheaper than the great mechanical spider, excluding several articulated pairs of legs. But wait a minute. Would they even bother to make the toy as playable as its vintage counterpart? I mean, would the electronic impulse still be part of it? After all, the Origins figures were recently stripped of their play features.

I've wondered this myself, and it's weird, while I'd rarely use the functionality I'd still want it to be there because it's super-old tech ffs! It's another reason I wanna see the motorised paks as a sort of proof of concept... 

@onlyoneskeletor I think Bashasaurus and Spydor are great candidates for Hasbro's side of the MOTU  × TF collection. They are both have enough bulk to the for robot bits to go and have a small one man driver's seat.

@smitty-81 100% agreed! To me, especially at this point in time, this is the best pretext they could have, outside of exploiting the original line. Anyway, I'd rather they were reshaped using this relevant recipe than not at all.
