@depp76 The rare videos available on YouTube seem to indicate that the FZ playset was well worth it: the plastic material appears to be of good quality, the creature is fairly large and articulated just as it should be, and the tree not only captures its prey, but also devours it. All in all, I'm so relieved that my quest for this missing piece has come to an end — I've been yearning for it since the MOTUC Classics days!

Also, did anyone notice or mention that the base of the Snake Lair has the Battle Bones head incorporated into it?

@depp76 Yes, it's a great addition! By the way, did you know that a certain manufacturer was planning to open pre-orders for their own version of the... 'Bad to the Bones' creature? This is supposed to take place at the same time as the Snake Lair crowdfunding campaign. I like the coincidence, but my wallet isn't feeling the same way (lol).

@smitty-81 That approach is bound to be overused, given the scarcity of official variants in the Filmation show. If they want to expand their range of characters, for instance, that's where they can draw inspiration.

Has anyone seen an official Mattel video of Swift Wind or a demo of the figure?

I really want to see the articulation, but so far all we have are blurry pixelated images.

The MOTU figures are shown in this video in a slightly different pose than what mattel had.

Upon closer inspection it looks like the thing Swifty's wings plug into is part of the collar and saddle and not his body.

Maybe we are getting Spirit after all...

@depp76 @sketchyskeletor We need higher-resolution images right away (lol)! All jokes aside, do you know that moment when you realise that the Motu Origins figures have taken a major step forward? It's when you never collected them, yet salivated like a starving predator at the sight of them (lol). First the 200X figures, and now She-Ra too?! Take it easy, Mattel!

Yeah She-Ra has that effect on me too...

Well, I was really hoping for Swift Wind for Masterverse + more girls from the Great Rebellion. I guess She-Ra & Frosta will have to take on the Horde all by themselves. This year is a bust for me. I get my hopes up every year & then get disappointed every year.  But I shouldn't get my hopes up as long as Origins is dominating 95% of the franchise.  2 playsets & a mount for Origins while Masterverse never gets s**t.  

And I think I have a legitimate right to complain. Mattel can't even focus on the 2 lines 50/50. It's like 95%-99% Origins while they barely remember Masterverse exists. Why are they still even bothering with Masterverse when all anybody f**kin cares about is Origins?

And when they do release new stuff for Masterverse it's usually the same figures we already have like the new She-Ra, Hordak & Vintage Collection Zodak, Faker, Skeletor, Stratos and another f**king Man-At-Arms that is barely any different than the last one we just got. Meanwhile they are going crazy designing tons of new stuff for Origins like Turtles Of Grayskull, Thundercats & now 200x.  WTF man?  WTF???

I'm so f**kin pissed over the way Mattel is handling this but I'm probably the only one & everybody will just tell me to STFU.

And then I see Pixel Dan ALWAYS THERE!  ALWAYS talking directly to guys at Mattel. And he never asks any decent questions. He never tries to extract any kind of information. Drives me nuts!

DO YOU ALL HAVE ADD?
AND WHY DO YOU ALL HAVE SUCH A F**ING HARD-ON FOR MAN-AT-ARMS?

I'd be asking them so many f**king questions they would start avoiding me. But Pixel Dan? Nah! No questions. No info. No nothin. He just gushes over every single new release like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Same exact story with Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron. Jazwares was at SDCC.  Did anybody bother to ask them any questions? Nah! Just keep your customers in the dark. Every year is the same damn thing. When the toy collectors have an opportunity to ask questions, they just stand there holding their d**ks.

@sci-fitsunami they said more that once that they weren’t done with Filmation and She-Ra.

@sci-fitsunami I feel we got a good amount of new Masterverse figures… not as creative as last year’s, but much better character choices.

It does feel like they stopped with all the other sub lines except New E. But gotta say, it has been my favorite sub line. And we can kinda mash the New Etheria Horde with the PoP Horde and have a pretty good roster.
