Where are the Filmation CC figures? There are still more to make! They can't stop here the line is just getting good!

You should have watched Pixel Dan's video. The Mattel people say that they aren't done with Filmation and that there's more to come on Friday.

really interesting to see the size comparison of Filmation, Lion-O, Vintage Origins / ToG.

Do you guys think the 200X He-Man buck is like the Thundercats basic buck? That 200X He-Man reminds me of TCats He-Man.

That would mean the 200X standard figs are actually a bit shorter than Filmation CC. Smaller heads, more slender legs. He-Man was huge in MYP, so I find him bit too small here. Moss Man.m, too.

But then there are ofc these 200X “Deluxes”, which look huge, and impressive.

Not crazy keen on starting a whole 200X collection, but I do love this giant Roboto, Rammy, Beast Man,… maybe Stratos.

I seem to be more interested in MV these days anyways, but I do love the Origins “vintages”, so I hope we’ll see more at the presentation(s).

The new castle does look kinda neat, and finally gives us a *grey* skull (…), (folks could pair this with the 200X figs, or TCats, etc), but who has the room for another Castle…

....they aren't even pushing for Randor, Marlena or the  Sorceress in CC?

Mattel have completely embraced the concept of re-releasing the same 20 characters in every incarnation they can think of. You know, rather than releasing a "complete" roster. As someone who just wants to complete the original Origins line, I am beyond annoyed by this practice. But I imagine that's where they move the most units.

I mean, didn't they annouce Stonedar way back in January? Or even earlier? Where is it?! ^^

Hasbro did this with Transformers. It took nearly a decade to get Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker to come out in one line, AT RETAIL, even after 2 blockbuster movies.

On the other hand, we do get some more rare characters in Masterverse, in a ratio of 1:3 in the waves. Perhaps I’m brainwashed by now, but I’m always celebrating that one outlier (Ninjor, Kobra Khan, Randor, … now Dragstor …).

And we are getting some entirely new characters in Vintage Origins.

They throw us a bone here and there.

It feels they do follow that annoying 20 characters strategy for necessary profit maximizing , but are aware they need to give something to the fan base along the way.

@cosmic they can do the "big 20" over two years and still squeeze in some of the lesser known characters. 

A wave 1 could have...

1. He-Man 
2. Skeletor 
3. Skeleton Warrior

Then wave two could be...

1. Man-at-Arms 
2. Teela 
3. Sting-Or 

And so on like that for as long as necessary. 

Today's MC drop just changed to 1 PM.

@kraken I'm honestly surprised to see it make a come back. I like the more simplified look and I hope to Zoar they don't try to pack in so much extra shit to make it $300 keep these playsets at or under $100 please.

Thankfully, they realised that the previous design looked a little too toy-like and made improvements. They also realised that removing the snake tower from the architecture would be a mistake. I have a hunch that the Rattle Snake vehicle might be reintroduced as one of the few options designed to give sales of this playset a boost.

For She-Ra's 40th anniversary, they've announced the creation of a new random Scorpion-styled character and a new random two-headed snake horse character...

...but not Scorpia or Swift Wind.

Hm.

Just let that sink in for a moment. I'll be over here, screaming into a pillow.

The snake horse is a punch in the gut to She-ra fans. I was going to say something if we didn’t see Swiftwind at the panel.

I'm glad they are using Origins, but I'm disappointed that it's not Transformers with Eternian alt modes.

Looks like Swiftwind is coming to Mattel Creations.  CC with cloth cape She-ra. 

If no one at the panel says anything to them about She-Ra...

...I mean I wouldn't be surprised, but it's just salt on a gaping, growing wound. Fans need to speak up to them, in public, or they'll just continue to think and act like this is A-Okay.

10,000 backers to get the horse. Me thinks that ain’t happening at $300.  It’ll be lucky to base fund at that price.
