@johnnyotool Congratz, that’s awesome news. I didn’t even realize they were on sale yet so I only got to the site 15 minutes after everything went on sale. In a way I’m thankful that Panthor was sold out because if he wasn’t I might’ve been swayed into buying another. So far there’s 8 listings on eBay. So 1.6% of them went to scalpers. They’re going for like $1700 CAD. It’s INSANE. 

@onlyoneskeletor Eternos stairs would’ve been a great idea. A real shame that they didn’t go that route, but I suppose they wanted to get Keldor out sooner rather than later. As I said in the news thread I might have to splurge on the Ice and Fire variants. I’m not usually one to buy variants, but they both look incredible. I had the Fire armour Skeletor growing up (still do), but never got Ice armour.

im very excited for the panel reveals. Im also guessing that the hidden display case Mondo has at the booth will be a 1/12th Battle Cat. I bet we’ll see concept art for Panthor as well at the panel. Then I’m hoping on another deep cut character like Webstor or Stinkor. I’m so excited about these reveals I’ve done no work today lol 

@smokinya Funny! It's clear that we both have the same bad habits when it comes to new SDCC reveals (lol). In my opinion, the key benefit of being self-employed is the freedom it brings. But I digress... If what you say about the additional reveal turns out to be true, then I'll have to carefully consider this possible purchase. I'm pretty satisfied with both my Classics Battle Cat and Panthor, except that the New Eternia Panthor bit me for a second time! Plus, my Battle Lion has the same helmet as this popular mount, so the chances of my venturing into that are pretty slim. I'm actually studying the remaining space in my room and the number of display cases I can expect to fit in before it's officially over, unless I substitute a few older figures for new ones. All in all, this hobby is draining for so many reasons!

@onlyoneskeletor I guess your Stratos prediction came true, just not in the scale we were discussing. Trap Jaw is coming after Mer-Man and He-Man/Skeletor variants. Still betting on that Battle Cat reveal in the final display case!! I assume we’ll get more reveals at Power-Con since Mondo will be attending. 

@onlyoneskeletor If that little moaty comes out of Kahn’s mouth I will be very very tempted.

@smokinya Flocked Panthor was one of my favorites as a kid, I am honestly beside myself with excitement. 

Can’t wait to see all the new renders as figures, they pleasantly surprise me with each reveal

@johnnyotool Stratos looks very far along. I'm betting he'll come out at the start of 2027. Regarding Moaty, its confirmed that he comes out of Khan's mouth. I would be shocked if he doesn't come with a closed mouth head and a spray effect of some kind. The paint will likely be better too. The one on display was being painted by Hector last weekend and Mark Bristol is the one who does the master paints for now. 

You'll have to let me know how the flocking turns out. Maybe I'll get a flocked 200x version of Panthor when they get to him. Disappointed that the hidden display case wasn't for MOTU, but the Ecto 1 for RGB looks pretty rad 

@smokinya Yeah, now I want Kobra Kahn too… Mondo confirmed that Moaty is removable, that KK will have his blaster, a cloak, a spitting accessory, and “tons more stuff that we couldn’t bring”

Okay, maybe I’m being a bit demanding here, but since both Fire Armor and Ice Armor He-Man are planned to be offered the Power-Con/MotuFest website, it takes me back to the days when I had to buy a pass knowing I wouldn’t attend the event just to get my figures (lol). So, I think it’s only fair to expect at least one more reveal after Trap-Jaw as a bit of compensation (lol)!

@johnnyotool thanks for the video link. I too am also thankful that I’m only collecting MOTU (specifically Mondo and Tweeterhead) otherwise I’d be hosed. Their RGB and TMNT lines are shaping up really nicely. Nice to get the extra info about the elemental 1/12th releases and the extra stuff about Khan. Not sure how I feel about them purposefully extending Khan’s neck, but I always display him with his hood out so it’ll look fine with that I reckon. 

@onlyoneskeletor safe to say we should be getting a 1/12th hero reveal at MOTUfest to make up for it. Is it confirmed that they’ll be available on that website and not Mondo’s website? Hector seemed to indicate that, but it isn’t entirely clear. I’ll ask Peter about it on 

@smokinya Judging by how things turned out with Anti-Eternia He-Man, we pretty much have our answer.

@onlyoneskeletor I'm thinking the two pack might be more like the Faker or Green Goddess figures. They go up for sale on the Mondo site during the event and they're limited to X amount of units (similar to Flocked Panthor). It would be weird to have Anti-Eternia He-Man as an event exclusive, only available to Power-Con and then create another exclusive only available to Power-Con on their website as well. Its $60 for a ticket so add that onto shipping and the cost adds up. 

Personally, if I need to buy a ticket I'll probably pass on the figures for sure. If they're up on the Mondo website I might pick them up depending on how the other MOTU releases are staggered. I sent Peter a message on Instagram so if he replies I'll update everyone. They are really, really cool, but I made myself a promise regarding variant's and I've been able to keep it for several years now. We'll see if that trend can hold. 

1:12 scale line is looking nice. But at these prices, it’s hard to pull the trigger on variants. 

I wish the Keldor was differentiated a bit more from regular Skeletor. Different paint apps, some additional weapons or relics, etc. 

Hoping 1:6 scale Sorceress turns out nicely. The render had some weird oranges and blues here and there. And too busy on the shoulders.

@grayskullguardsman Yeah i was a bit surprised seeing these 200X variants at 1:12. There are new parts required, but I guess it’s cheaper than making new characters.

But as you say, at that price point, I wonder how many will really buy variants, even such nicely executed ones. And it’s still early in the line.

When it comes to 200X, a lot of people got sick of variants and blamed them for its demise. But I guess they hope those days are forgotten…

Well, as if we weren’t already spoilt enough as it is, Val Staples revealed in a podcast called ‘Podcasters Of The Universe’ that a new 1/12-scale MOTU exclusive figure is set to be released at the upcoming Power-Con/MOTUFest. Mondo is really going all out with this brand !

@onlyoneskeletor I was thinking they might tease or reveal a future product, but a third exclusive? Wow!

@johnnyotool That’s a bit of an exaggeration, isn’t it? A new variant is looming on the horizon… Who do you think the potential candidate might be?

@onlyoneskeletor There's the Anti-Eternia He-Man exclusive, the Fire & Ice variants available online the same weekend as the show, and I guess I'm not certain if this new (sounds like a variant?) is a reveal or will be available? 

If it's a variant, Faker would be my guess.

Looking forward to the eventual Evil-Lyn reveal (maybe NYCC or Toyfair?)

@johnnyotool For me it could be: Disco Skeletor (huge pass for me!) or maybe a Snake Teela variant ? If so, really excited! Besides the Orko who's coming with the initial offer could very well be reused as the old trollan oracle which is seen in one of the episodes relating the past of King Grayskull.

@onlyoneskeletor I had thought about Snake MAA, but he had a snake head in the box already 🙂 

Oh jeez, would King Grayskull be considered a He-Man variant? That could be pretty epic, especially with a Trollan pack-in!

Wow. Another figure for Power-Con. Hopefully this one will be sold on the Mondo website and not require a pass to be bought to the Convention. Still waiting on confirmation for Fire and Ice figures and whether or not we’ll need a pass to access them. 

I think Faker and King Grayskull are both good guesses. Snake Teela is another potential option. I definitely feel like it’ll be a new character. We got 1/6th Faker and Goddess via convention exclusives and given that they chose Keldor for SDCC I think it’ll be King Grayskull with a similar pre-order window to Keldor. 

speaking of Keldor did any of you get an email about whether you were in the first 1500 units or not? I did get an email about tracking for him, but it never said whether or not I was in the first 1500.

Looks like people are starting to receive their Timed Skeletors, they look awesome!

To be honest, I would be very surprised if I was not among the first 1,500 units to be sold, since I ordered as soon as the product was available on their website. However, apart from the order confirmation, there has been no indication to support my hypothesis. 

He's a little stiff, but he's here! Looks and feels great, have to work on getting him posed later. Not sure the picture does the size justice, he is huge.

I'm a bit amazed at how the sculpt detail isn't completely obscured by the flocking.

(I couldn't even find the exact time my order was processed anywhere, think Mondo is purposefully not being as transparent as they could be)

@johnnyotool he looks really good. Have you moved him around much more since you got him? The sculpt really shines through the flocking much to my surprise as well. 

I'm wondering when King Hssss will go up for order. With MOTUfest only 30 days away I can't imagine Mer-Man or King Hsssss will be going on order beforehand. Especially with 3 exclusives coming for 200x at the show. 

Seems Mondo is finally shipping my 200x Skeletor as well. You'd think I live on a remote island or something with how long it takes for them to send me my figures lol
