I seriously doubt October is correct. Amazon says Jan 30th. That seems more accurate IMO. Or maybe sometime in Nov. or Dec.? Amazon usually gets them a little later so who knows? I ordered from both BBTS & Amazon & I'll go with whichever gets them first and cancel the other.

Sent NE Teela back yesterday (Amazon, so easy to do). Absolute garbage. The facesculpt is awful, like it's been based on someone specific IRL instead of traditional Teela. And the hip placement is something else, sitting entirely separate from her outfit even when pushed in fully.
She should never have been released and is exactly why we got vintage immediately after. Trumping even Mer-Man's record!
@sci-fitsunami honestly, I was surprised when I saw October...idk, January seems a bit too late, maybe November sounds more like it...who knows, we'll see eventually...I want these toys ASAP of course, so I am keeping the hope alive 🙂
There will likely be an early shipment to BBTS in Oct / Nov, and then they’ll get a larger shipment in Jan or whatever, when Amazon also gets theirs?
I think something similar happened last time around.
Although I think Amazon also got (some) Kobra K just as early as BBTS.

I was on ChatGPT a couple days ago asking about this wave. One of the questions that came up was which one would sell out first. Kobra Khan was easy to predict but this wave is more difficult. ChatGPT suggested Anti-Eternia He-Man would be the first. But I was like "NO WAY!" It's just another stupid He-Man variant and we all saw what happened to Flying Fists He-Man. Anybody can make their own Anti-Eternia He-Man by simply dunking a regular He-Man figure into black Rit Dye. Anti-Eternia He-Man looks like somebody's first custom when they're just starting to learn how to customize. So I just checked BBTS and sure enough Anti-Eternia He-Man is already SOLD OUT. WTF?????
I don't get it. I'm usually really in touch with this stuff, I can always pick out the 1 figure in each wave that will sell out first. But this time I just don't understand how Anti-Eternia He-man can be more popular than Mantenna or Mosquitor. Mantenna is the most awesome & original design in the entire franchise.
And then there's this Castle Hellskull nonsense. Just like Anti-Eternia He-Man is a black & red repaint of He-Man, I was imagining Castle Hellskull to be a black repaint of Castle Grayskull with glowing yellow/orange/red lava oozing out of the cracks. Ya know? Like "HELL" maybe? But then this weird-looking white thing came along and it's not even a "SKULL". It looks like a porcelain doll of a female vampire with a Predator jaw. I absolutely hate it. I don't get it. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone right now. If Anti-Eternia He-Man is solid black why is Castle Hellskull solid white? It makes no sense.
@yen1893 As one might expect, the AE He-Man figure was the first to sell out at BBTS.
Mantenna and Mosquitor will be sold out soon too...I can tell you my prediction for the next wave...I think that Despara will be the 1st one to go out of stock...

Anti Aternia He-Man and Castle Hellskull are originally from the German Audio-plays. These cassettes were huge in Germany, maybe b/c the tv cartoon came way too late. There are dozens of stories and its own continuity.
AE He-Man is described just as a jet black He-Man I think, (not sure who started the red accents (Classics?) or if that was also on the tape), so MV did some creative additions (helmet), plus cues from MOTMultiverse comic (collected swords).
Castle Hellskull is described as an Angel’s face in the audio play.
Like the castle of good looks like a creepy, dark fortress, the castle of evil is described as shining angel’s face. Y’know, the opposite?
There wasn’t a real visual for the longest time, then I *think* MV artist Simon Eckert (Long before his official time as official MV artist) did an illustration of Castle Hellskull as fan creation, and that one has since been absorbed by Mattel as official depiction.
Meanwhile, in Germany there has JUST been recently a monumental fan project to make a real Castle Hellskull play set, if u Google it…

I have been a big proponent of the Anti-Eternia theme/characters from day one, and got uber excited when MOTUC delved into the AE mythology.
It has since caught on (mostly), and become a regular part of the MOTU-niverse...
What I wouldn't give for a real Castle Hellskull playset!

Well, I like the black & red Anti-Eternia characters but I hate the Castle HellSKULL with no "SKULL" anywhere in sight. I'm glad the doofy-looking helmet is optional. I won't be using the helmet or the shield when I get him.
And it really blows my mind that AE He-Man is more popular that Mantenna or Mosquitor. There is nothing more awesome than that Mantenna figure IMO.
@sci-fitsunami Sometimes it depends how many they pack per box, though it seems lately MV is always 3 figures per case, so all are the same quantity. It is interesting, that he sold out there.
It *could* be that German fans are ordering him a lot. BBTS is popular and trusted with them, and doesn’t rip them off for shipping.
Or it’s simply a He-Man variant, and as much as we whine about too many He-Men, there are those who just get main characters (collectors who mainly collect other lines and have just a “capsule collection of MOTU?).
@ornclown And, all of this was way before the Multiverse craze and all the alternate, evil versions that are now so common in pop culture. AE is classic vintage continuity (at least in Germany).
In other instances, this stuff has become (to me) a slightly tired cliché, but I can definitely appreciate Anti Eternia! (not just because I grew up there) (in Germany, not on Anti Eternia) (though similar enough).
Yeah, Anti-Eternia is cool. I love it! My only problem is the Castle. It just doesn't work IMO.
Also, EE had a listing for the last wave, a full case including 4. 1x Kobra Khan, 1x Teela & 2x Hordaks. I keep refreshing the EE page looking for this new wave to see the case pack numbers but they still haven't listed anything.

Teela's head is pretty rough but she instantly looks better with the Snake armor on. When her hair is covered the only issue I have is her irises. They are painted too high up on her eyes.

But if you check their "Drop Zone" there's a bunch of stuff from Mattel coming this month starting tomorrow the 15th. But it might not actually show up? And it may not be MOTU. Guess we'll just have to wait & see.
