Yup just saw KK preorder on Amazon
As far as the discussions about MV and Origins, I think many Origins collectors would would strongly disagree that the line gets all the love. 😏
I mean the “Vintage” collection is going at a snail’s pace, and everyone *constantly* complains that they don’t seem to want to finish it. And that’s the “Core” Origins line according to Mattel’s own naming convention!
They are constantly rebooting it into cartoon versions sublines, which have a different buck and not everyone likes. They are also not looking to “complete” them.
The crossovers are wacky and again, not everyone enjoys them. Many see them as “distraction” from Vintage completion.
One caveat about the infamous Jitsu wave glut– this stems from height of Pandemic, and there was an absolute *shortage* of product! So they did the best they could by overproducing the next wave, so that there would be *something* in the aisles. Yes they’re still around, but, we’ll survive it.
I guess there is more quantity in Origins as a whole, yes. But many would deny that that’s “love”.
When u look at other toy lines, the whole internet– most collectors seem unhappy with their brand managing. 🤷
Kobra Khan and Teela up for pre-order at BBTS. No Hordak.

Well ain't that some shit? I just spoke to BBTS about this yesterday & they insisted they didn't know anything about it & didn't know if they had ordered any of these. Now, the very next day they are up for pre-order with an estimated arrival date of THIS FREAKIN MONTH! Amazon says October but BBTS is saying right now, this month.
I ordered everything I want from both Amazon & BBTS. Whoever comes through first gets my money. BBTS is usually a lot earlier. Hell, they may even already have them in stock. Sometimes BBTS sends you an email saying your order is in stock & processing while the main page still says "PRE-ORDER".
BBTS also just put up the new Sectaurs Spidrax, Spiderflyer & Dragonflyer. Those are an absolute MUST for me. I loved the Sectaurs as much as MOTU. And they have new improved wings that won't break as easily as the originals. And light up eyes. General Spidrax & Spiderflyer are in my top 5 greatest 80s toys.
@sci-fitsunami thats really strange..I sent an email to BBTS, few days ago, asking about MV New Eternia wave 18, they answered me some generic bullshyt, like we do not know, you can follow us on Insta or whatever so you can be up to date, and 4 days later here it is...they either have complete morons working for them, or it's something else...
@depp76 Hordak is in stock at the moment at BBTS
See what I mean? Hordak is IN STOCK but yesterday they didn't know anything about this wave at all.
This cloak & dagger secrecy horse shit between these companies & their customers is really getting out of hand. They're acting like action figures are top-secret, classified government documents.
I feel like calling BBTS back & saying "WTF man?" But I won't. Or should I? lol
@sci-fitsunami complete nonsense, it was just matter of days...nah dont waste your time calling them, they will probably say something even more stupid 🙂
Just ordered the Sectaurs at BBTS...I had those EXACT figures and creatures when I was a kid. They eventually got sold at a yard sale so I am ecstatic to be able to own them again! But 2nd quarter 2027??? Is that a mistake? If you order directly from the Nacelle Company it says 2nd quarter 2026.Kobra Khan and Teela up for pre-order at BBTS. No Hordak.

I know right? They were beyond awesome in the 80s & now they have stronger wings that won't break as easily + light up eyes. And for only $40. Most other companies like Ramen Toys & Loyal Subjects (M.A.S.K.) would easily charge close to $200 each. I can't freakin wait! I really hope they also make Skulk/Trancula & Pinsor/Battle Beetle.
I had them too lol! And the Hyve...Just ordered the Sectaurs at BBTS...I had those EXACT figures and creatures when I was a kid. Unfortunately, I never ever saw The Hyve in stores (same with the die-cast TIE Bomber & Solitaire from the Rock Lords). I had the entire Sectaurs line except for the Hyve. I did manage to get Solitaire off eBay but I never got that TIE Bomber or the Hyve.
Looks like Kobra Khan is already SOLD OUT on Amazon. But if BBTS gets them first I'll be cancelling my Amazon order. If you want this guy DON'T SLEEP ON IT! This is probably going to be the next BA Skeletor.
I'm trying to get 4-6 because I really need to customize this dude. I need more Snakemen for my collection & this is an easy repaint into Rattle Hood, Naga & Gorgon. We'll never get a Masterverse Diabolical Snakemen set so this is the best I can do. And why I say Origins gets all the love & attention. The distribution for Origins ain't no good but the figure selection is chef's kiss. Masterverse will never get the amount of variations, repaints & deep cuts as Origins does.
I haven't been this excited over a Masterverse figure in a long time.
NE Ninjor is available at Walmart.com , for those who don’t have him:

(He’s a great figure even with the off-black body color)

Wow! Seeing him on Walmart is really cool. Too bad the stores skip most waves. My Walmart has a ton of Flying Fists He-Man & they have only been restocking Faker & Zodac regularly.
So everybody is bitching about the new She-Ra & Teela on social media. Fans complaining to other fans. I just watched a video trashing the new Teela. The main complaint was the single jointed elbows. Now which do you think would be more effective? Flooding Mattel with complaints or bitching to your Youtube audience? Who can fix/change the issues you have? Mattel or other fans?
Also, Mattel is probably trying to cut back as much as possible so they don't have to raise the prices.
Kobra Khan is now SOLD OUT on BBTS too. Do you think this will continue with the Snakemen in Masterverse or will the fans get sick of the Snakemen like they did with Origins?

A lot of people tag Mattel anyway, especially on their social media. And we know they keep an eye on these things anyway from their comments on livestreams. The fans complaining amongst each other kinda works too because you're getting the best of both approaches. Daylight is the best disinfectant and all that.
If the Man Child review is anything to go by the Teela figure really is crap!
Re. prices. They're now £28-30 in the UK which is ludicrous because the QC is all over the place. Every wave (and I don't tend to buy every figure in a wave) I've to boil an arm socket just to enable movement! If they get any dearer folks will reject them outright.
If they keep putting out the Snakes with the sort of effort that's gone into Kobra Khan and don't go into the bloody weeds again I don't think anybody will have any problems. Lashor could look stunning just because of the colours alone. Mind you, what use is that if you can't even find Kobra Khan...
Why is Nacelle capable of making great figures with lots of tooling for a reasonable price yet others can't?
Why is Nacelle capable of making great figures with lots of tooling for a reasonable price yet others can't?
Yup, same with Jada and now Storm, as just two other examples. Folks need to fucking stop making excuses for the big two yesterday. When minnows are paying a fortune for licences AND taking all the risk then still kicking ass, what the hell are you defending?
Why is Nacelle capable of making great figures with lots of tooling for a reasonable price yet others can't?
Others can! They just choose not too. Because they know collectors will pay any price so they're taking advantage of the situation. They know most collectors have way more money than brains. I cannot believe some of the prices other collectors are willing to pay. $300 for the Snake Lair? I DON'T THINK SO! And then there's stuff from Takara like Diaclone Reboot and the latest Transformers crossovers that are grossly overpriced.
New Etheria She-Ra also sold out on BBTS. It's funny how everybody HATES that figure because of her face yet she still sells out. Just shows how full of crap toy collectors are. I didn't think it would sell out because it was supposed to be so "hated". I don't think I saw anybody not bitch about how absolutely horrible that figure was. lol
Will the new "HATED" Teela also sell out everywhere?

There's all sorts of reasons something sells out. For instance the Masterverse allocations are now really small around the world, but equally, you can still buy her all over Europe! Take Ninjor for example, he's available across Europe to the extent he appears in deals. Same with Faker. Yet we got very little of Zodac. This is Mattel we're talking about here, they just dump stock wherever and have done since the end of the OG line.
That's before you get to customizers, folks who skipped the original release because the headsculpt was crap on it too... and, again, just sheer Mattel randomness. Teela has sold out at plenty of individual retailers in the UK but Amazon European sites all still have her up for pre-order along with the super popular Kobra Khan.
Put simply there's collectively no logic with how Mattel ships things.

My point is how collectors hate a figure, bash it constantly & give it negative reviews but will still spend money on it.
When I truly hate a figure/character I won't spend money on it. I say I hate the 87 movie except for Saurod & the only figure I own from the 87 movie is Classics Saurod. I'm not going to buy a character I despise just to be a completionist.
It sucks when the feedback doesn't match the reality. When a new movie gets trashed by critics it usually flops/bombs. People usually listen. When an action figure gets trashed by critics it sells out. Collectors don't listen. See what I mean? It makes no sense. This figure sucks so I'm gonna buy it! WTF???
Mad Hatter posted a video about the New Etheria She-Ra called "I HATE THIS FIGURE!" And in the video he says "it was only $20 so I bought it anyway." WTF dude? Those 20's add up fast. Most normal people don't waste money on stuff they don't really like/want. But not toy collectors, they'll waste money on it anyway.

A lot of people want 'gap fillers' until something better comes along I think, I've certainly done that and it's really prevalent in Transformers as one instance. Others will buy a figure even just for the accessories, eventually, which is what I'll do with that horrendous Teela! There's still plenty of reasons even if you know a figure is objectively bad and/or overpriced. It's all relative, even just to the buyer.
In Hatter's case he can use it for a video and because the figure was slated by many it'll get views. Everybody has a tipping point even if they know a figure is generally crap. My god, I bought some amount of expensive, exclusive ToG figures purely for parts.
@sketchyskeletor True, sometimes shitty figures come with cool accessories that you can't get anywhere else, so you're kind of forced to hold your nose and buy the damn thing.
