So as a collector of mainly a lot of Origins and have done some Masterverse to the side and will get more into Chronicles, Classics is the sort of a figure line I'm intrigued in for how it carried the MOTU brand in terms of new stuff for a long time alongside the comics and the amount of characters they did, even the most obscure ones and even a Robot Chicken parody character made official by Mattel.

Definitely not too interested in actively getting too much of them because the aftermarket prices on eBay for a lot of the major characters and sought after ones ooooh boy.

But because of my curiosity, I would like some recommendations for good Classics figures that I could maybe find NIB for less than $90 on eBay, preferably around $50. Doesn't matter what character, just good yet cheap Classics recommendations if anyone has any.

@slycooperastroboy51 At this price range, you can expect characters like Marzo, Strong-Or, Plundor, and mainly NA figures such as Darius, Icarius, and others at this point.

@onlyoneskeletor tbh, I like those characters so I would take that. But Classics never seemed like it was ot for me, I mean, I was a kid when they came out, but I didn't like the early ones at least once I found out about Classics.

@kinggrayskull09 Really? The nostalgic factor hit me almost instantly when I came across this line two years after its official online launch. Seeing their Beast Man (one of my favorite MOTU characters, right after Evil-Lyn) made it clear that resisting was never an option for me (lol).

@slycooperastroboy51 Some of the prices came down a bit, maybe because Masterverse released them. Also loose figures (sometimes used by children and slightly beat up), are affordable. It helps monitoring both EBay and Mercari, but a real jackpot is rare.

I think Buzz-Off came down price-wise, (feel I overpaid– twice!) and I love how they did him, very vintage but more detail, the Classics are basically “idealized” versions of the vintage figures.

They worked well until they started with their interpretation of the vintage shell-armors, or when they did an armor instead doing a new buck. The puffy vests plus a slightly short arm, it was a bit less ideal.

Still, there are beautiful figures, even a Darius from NY (who never got produced in the vintage NA line), looks so good!

Also there are the PoP ladies plus Bow, some real nice ones there (I like Flutterina and Angella, with their wings!)

But yeah, I got a Spikor without the second telescoping arm attachment, for $50. Grizzlor has become affordable. Mer Man is really nice, in both variants. I’ve been partial to Stinkor, Zodac, his successor with the mirror chest,… those are all doable. Way too many to name. (NA Space She-Ra!)

I even got MAA and Teela “used”, and they still look pretty nice. My limit was usually $60-ish, sometimes up to 70, but that was just before Origins hit.

I’m missing a lot of the high-profile bad guys, (Kobra Khan would be a dream), but those are too pricey.

When you get closer to $90, you can get a lot of the more desirable characters.

@onlyoneskeletor I don't knwo, they always just looked not for me, at least the first few waves they got better as they went on. I liked the stories they came up with but that's about it.
