On October 20th, you can own the power, but that power appears to be limited when it comes to bonus features.

When we broke the release date news for the Amazon MGM Studios and Alliance Home Entertainment “Masters of the Universe” DVD/Blu-Ray/4K release last month, we said the home video’s special features would include a Behind-The-Scenes Promotional Gallery and the Masters of Light: Skies of Eternia Drone Spectacle.

Well now, after getting a better look at the home video’s packaging for the “Masters of the Universe” steelbook, we realized those two bonus features appear to be the only bonus features. Check it out:

We are still excited to obtain this home video release, but very surprised how limited the bonus features appear to be, not even including the terrific featurettes released on social media prior to the film’s release.

Perhaps there will be a more robust, bonus featured filled, special edition home video version of the new “Masters of the Universe” movie that is released down the line. We shall see.
We’ll see you next time.

30 to 40 for no deleted scenes and no digital copy is too much. I may wait for a sale.
LAME
Are they doing the same as toy companies – release a first not-so-great version, for excited fans to purchase, and then down the line release a better one, so that they can sell it basically twice?
While not impossible I fear its more a case of “After this box office we don’t give a f anymore and only kept it to the bare minimum" 🙁
