WE SCOOPED IT! New “Masters of the Universe” (1987) 4K Release will have all the “bells & whistles” including a NEWLY UNEARTHED PREVIEW CUT with New and Extended Scenes (reportedly coming November 3rd!)

Back in April we broke the news in the industry that fans of 4K Physical Media and the 1987 original “Masters of the Universe” Movie could rejoice.

That is because MOTU 1987 was coming to 4K, per a scoop that was anonymously sent to HE-MANIA.COM.

While the release is not coming from Vinegar Syndrome, a few reports came out (while we were in Los Angeles) that has confirmed it will indeed have all the “bells and whistles” as we previously reported. And what bells and whistles they are!

Here are the details:

First, a brand new sub-label of Arrow Video titled Toy Robot Video will be releasing “Masters of the Universe” (1987) on 4K.

Also a packaging preview was revealed, reportedly shown at Frightmare Weekend in Texas and courtesy of Amiibro121!

Here is what it says:

Toy Robot Video is proud to present a newly unearthed Preview Cut of Masters of the Universe featuring never before-seen footage, including new and extended scenes on 2-Disc Blu-Ray and 2Disx 4K UHD
