Finally.
Mattel Creations has just teased a new addition to their Masters of the Universe: Origins (Vintage) Action Figure Line: Two Bad!

And now, the Vintage TWO BAD can be added to your collection … available to order Wednesday, September 23rd, first to Club Grayskull members.

For years it had been sculpted but put on hold, waiting to be released “at some point” (per our July 2024 Report based on the information provided by Mattel’s Director Of Product Development.)

But then, this past July, during San Diego Comic-Con, finally, Two Bad was announced as coming to fans that wanted him, per Mattel’s SDCC Panel.
It’s about time!
We’ll see you next time!

2 years too late
2 bad 2 years 2 late
How so?
Ok. Everyone be honest who’s done with Origins after Two-Bad?
@smitty-81 Not me. If anything I’ll be relieved once the vintage stuff is done so that they can concentrate on releasing far more interesting deep cuts and new stuff.
I fell out of love with origins. I got no interest in the movie shit and the He-ro line ain’t doing it for me.
It’s the waiting.
We are adults.
@smitty-81 I will stick by them as long as they do interesting Vintage Collection / Powers of Grayskull stuff. Based on the vintage buck.
I’m not collecting 200X CC but I have figures from all the iterations of Origins, including quite a few Turtles, almost half of Filmation, and a couple Thundercats.
But the vintage buck is my main thing (in Origins).Oh yeah, and I love the Sketchbook Series.
Yeah… really curious to see what happens once this one is passed on to the fans. The market could definitely shift, like nobody cares anymore (good luck Laser Light Skeletor and the rest of the list…), which is probably why Damon, Mattel’s spokesperson, seemed so skeptical when asked about the ’87 movie figures: “I think the initial goal was to get to a certain point, but these ones weren’t taken into account.” Something along those lines.
