While there are many aesthetics from the vintage iconic Masters of the Universe brand that has been lovingly carried over into the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” Movie…
…one aesthetic that didn’t make the cut is He-Man’s furry loincloth.
While many fans can understand the movement away from what has been lovingly called He-Man’s “furry underpants“…
…especially when it comes to a big budget movie trying to appeal to modern day audiences….
…some fans still felt slighted by the outfit change. But those who felt slighted may consider the following as good news.
Under the leather skirt of two (of the three) “Masters of the Universe” Movie He-Man figures available to purchase, He-Man seems to be wearing a furry loincloth underneath.
Does this mean a hidden furry loincloth will also be underneath the leather skirt of our new Movie He-Man, worn by actor Nicholas Galitzine?
We will have to wait until the first week of June to find out.

That’s a good way to get testicular torsion. I’ve never had it but I hear it’s very painful.

I can confirm that Movie Origins He-Man and Spikor have furry trunks.
Spikor also used standard shins with CC Mer-Man feet and some other reused VC parts. I think the parts reuse is just to save money, and a bit of an Easter egg for the fans.
I think it’s just a nod to the vintage toys
He’s gonna be wearing something under there.
