Now this is exciting!
Thanks to the awesome eagle-eyed @ehenyo, we have just learned that the new “Masters of the Universe” big budget film starring Nicholas Galitzine and Jared Leto will be titled “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” in some countries!

A title that first became iconic in 1983 thanks to the amazing, classic Filmation cartoon “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe“…

…it is fitting that at least in some geographical locations, this movie will use that moniker considering director Travis Knight has reportedly tried to emulate the Filmation cartoon with his film as much as possible.
As an example, take a look at the end of this trailer for India (where Sony is distributing the movie):
Very cool!
Would you want this extremely anticipated movie to be titled “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” in your country as well? Let us know in the comments below.
We’ll see you next time.

I didn’t before, but I want this here in America now as well.
My preference is Masters of the Universe but I have noticed normies do not know what Masters is but they know what He-Man is.
That is a much better title. Any Filmation He-Man fan will agree.
Not too surprising. Latin American packaging for Origins had that.

Of course. Besides that this is the title all along he is widely recognized; its a shoot in the financial foot to not piggy back on that recognition. He always has been a symbol for heroism and positive masculinity even before that was a used term combination; the descission makers should not shy away from that. Just because usually it means doing the right thing costs money it is not always the case; sometimes it brings it in. This is one of those cases.
