OUR REVIEW:
A monotonous, poorly scripted story where Orko is kidnapped by "Mr. Beast Man" and "Mr. Trap Jaw" and Orko defeats them with their own stupidity. If dumb villains are your thing then this tale may be for you, but we reckon many viewers will feel defeated by stupidity too, by time this episode wraps. (3/10)

  1. This was one I searched for when I first started rewatching, I have core memories of watching parts of this one after school, in particular when Orko, Trap-Jaw, and Beastman are trapped together. That said, nostalgia had me thinking this episode was better than it was.

I am very mixed on the back half of episodes treatment of Beastman and Trap-Jaw – they become the preferred Evil Warrior lineup, and they have gotten significantly dumber. Some episodes this works (like the Rainbow Warrior) and others like this one it does not. They never come across as threatening to He-Man, they just happen to have the tower. I am glad that in their final appearance (She-Ra “Assault on the Hive”) they’re portrayed much closer to their S1 personalities.

  2. “That’s MrBeast to you!"
Yet another I think misleading episode title

Really all I have to say. This is just a nothing episode for me.
Have we seen these type of bug people before? I feel like this show has at least three separate species of them.
The main Evil Warriors without Skeletor can be entertaining main antagonists of an episode, “City Beneath The Sea" is a great example of this, but this definitely wasn’t one of those instances. These instances make you wonder what Skel is currently doing.
I’m guessing while Beast and Jaw are out, he’s gaming.
