HE-MANIA.COM finally has some official details and imagery to reveal regarding the Masters of the Universe: Chronicles “Inaugural Edition” Scare Glow action figure, sent directly to us by Mattel.
The meaning of inaugural is a first in a series, it marks the beginning of an event. And it certainly applies here because the Chronicles “Inaugural Edition” Scare Glow figure will usher in the debut of Chronicles line alongside the larger (movie) releases and will start hitting retail shelves on April 25.

We were also informed that this “Inaugural Edition” Scare Glow will be a Walmart Exclusive in the U.S. (We do not have information yet if and where Scare Glow will be available internationally). Here are the official details:

They better be stocking this one in every store or fans gonna riot 🤣
It will be fine if the Scare Glows are available like the Stranger Things figures. I saw them in multiple stores so I think everyone could find those.
This brand has never been more hectic.
Next up at Walmart Cancel Con is Scare Glow. Get your pre orders in now so we can cancel them in a month.
What about the folks in Great Britain?
I inquired with Mattel. If I hear back I’ll let everyone know. 🙂
Please check if you can for Australia as well!
Ushering in the new figures
All right, so I was wrong this time. The exclusive item planned for March 19 via Mattel Creations will be something else. Which doesn’t mind, to be perfectly honest, with the existence of a few rumored Vintage Collection Masterverse figures (Wun-Dar, Evil-Lyn, Beast-Man).
only at Walmart ? in that case, I will have to deal with Ebay scalpers unfortunately…hopefully, I ‘ll find someone not greedy 🙂
They just can’t get away from this short term financial thinking, can they? How about growing the new line for the future instead of hobbling it on day one by handing it to that fucking clown convention just because they wanted the minimum order quantity?
Because guess what, if you make the inaugural figure an exclusive enough people will struggle to buy it and so they don’t buy many more. How many frigging times do you need to repeat the same mistake with one brand?
Now that I think about it, it’s worrisome knowing that this Chronicles Scarglow could potentially steal the spotlight from the MV Vintage Collection figures, which are only available via this retailer, and its highly criticized cyber-convention concept. On the other hand, Mattel Creations seems to have been focused on Origins for more than a semester now. Consequently, might the prospect of the Evil-Lyn, Wun-Dar, and Beast-Man materialize remain unfeasible? 🤔
I found an old notebook that has Scareglow, Adam and Sorceress written down in it, probably Toy Habits suggestions. Mentioning it just in case they appear!
None of my local Walmarts carry motu… Yay
This constant Walmart Exclusive shit is ruining the entire franchise. After Turtles Of Grayskull Mer-Man & Moss-Man and Vintage Collection Man-At-Arms & Mer-Man, I don’t even want to be bothered anymore. I didn’t want this stupid new movie & I didn’t want Chronicles, I just wanted the Snakemen, Extendar & Rio-Blast in Masterverse. I’m starting to just not care anymore. Masterverse New Eternia was getting really good but they derailed the whole thing.
