What has turned out to be the worst kept secret in Hollywood at this point, He-Man actor Dolph Lundgren from the classic 1987 “Masters of the Universe” Movie teased his involvement in the new MOTU movie again… that is coming from Amazon MGM and Mattel Studios.

This time the 67 year old actor was promoting his new documentary “Dolph: Unbreakable” with ExtraTV, and was asked if he would be in the upcoming He-Man movie coming out next year. Dolph Lundgren answered with a coy smile:
DOLPH: "Maybe, yeah, you will have to check it out when it comes out."
If you recall, it all started back in February when Dolph Lundgren took to social media revealing he was working on a “secret project” in London, the same time and place where “Masters of the Universe” was being filmed! And the actor was being fitted for a wig

And now, after a handful of teases Dolph has made throughout the year, it is basically a foregone conclusion that he will be appearing in the “Masters of the Universe” Movie next year. But in what role? We will have to wait and see.
The “Masters of the Universe” Movie is currently in Post-Production with the film scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.
And be sure to watch the entire interview on ExtraTV.
We’ll see you next time!

It would be badass if he is cast as King Grayskull.
That would be my choice.
Dolph keeps teasing the hell out of it. He is way too old to give a shit. lmao
Dolph wipes his ass with NDA agreements.
Dolph says in perfect old man fashion. . . . . . . .
Old man Dolph is gonna be in a movie he can really feel proud about.
Dude he already has one.
@kraken Definitely not the original MOTU movie!
Hmmm… I’m increasingly drawn to the idea of taking on the role of King Miro.
