Back in April we reported that Plaion Pictures announced a new Blu-Ray release for the 2002 “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” series known as “200X“ broken out into two volumes.

Marking the first time the 2002 series was being released on Blu-Ray, this set coming from Plaion Pictures is the same German company that released “The Eternia Collection”, an epic 20 Blu-Ray disc box set that featured every episode of the classic Filmation animated series “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” and “She-Ra: Princess of Power” remastered in HD (High Definition).

Plaion also released the subsequent pared down Volume 1 and 2 Blu-Ray sets of “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe“… with every episode (in both collections) watchable in English on region-free discs

Well now, thanks to a Live Shopping event on YouTube, Plaion Pictures revealed more details about the He-Man 200X Blu-Ray set… including the set is in its “final stages”, there will be old and New Bonus Material, and it is due out in “Early Autumn”. Here is what was exactly said:

"Yes, we're in the middle of it. The masters are currently being processed, and the sound set up. We have new bonus material that we're preparing and also old bonus material that still needs to be subtitled. But we're in the final stages now and are planning for the release in Early Autumn.

"Early Autumn, right? That's soon, right? We have Summer, then comes Late Summer, then Early Autumn.

"Here bottom right you can definitely see the cover is already finished. Yes, we definitely wanted to show you, so you could get an impression what the edition will look like. The edition will also be available exclusively in our shop.

One note for potential U.S. Customers: Since this set will be exclusively sold through the Plaion Pictures Shop, fans in the United States who want to get their hands on this landmark Blu-Ray release may have to resort to other means like the secondary market.
