Nobody minds redesigns if they're visually good, or at least practical. I mean for all the 87 movie complaints few were about the look of the characters.

That could really work, despite Warner Bros greed the MK team always did great with their cameo fighters, never mind the dedicated Injustice games.  

Thing is though, even the humour in the Filmation cartoon dropped off when it needed to for an action or tense scene. Marvel hadn't understood that for years until we got those sombre Avengers teasers...

If so I have seriously reduced interest because the last thing you do with already over the top characters is make a comedy. You play it straight and sprinkle humour in. Even the 87 version understood...

Like, we need to see more tomorrow for a much better idea, but it already looks and feels like a Guardians movie. And I never need to see anything of that vibe again.

I'm hoping for less crossovers and more cartoon collection (especially PoP) and motorised vehicles. Basically to show intent for each. Though obviously a big push for the movie is likely.  

Same, three figures a wave and it's still a stretch for them!  

I wonder what the next crowdfund will be if they even attempt it. I mean they showed us the Fright Zone sketch then put it out at retail, and the Snake Lair was a sketch from start to finish... whatev...
